Loud and clear!

I would really recommend these speakers, installed them in the dash of my gmc sonoma and wow! These are very loud, very clean! I am running these off of a rockford fosgate t400.4 giving them about 75-85watts. They are 3ohm so make sure your amp can handle them, and you must amp these or they will not sound good. The price on these is super low compared to what they were before boston decided to discontinue their car audio which is sad because they make really good products. I read some people said these sounded crunchy but they must have some settings wrong, or they need to switch the tweeter level down to -3db inside the crossovers, which are very nice and I like the features. I give these a thumbs up all the way around. I have 2 boston spg's which are some beasty subs for my little truck and a set of boston sr6.5's in the doors. After upgrading to the pro's I can turn my system up way more before the subs drowned them out. They sound great from outside my truck with the system full blast, its just that my subs are right behind me and all that sound in a small truck is hard to distinguish when its full blast but after purchasing these its defenantly an improvement in clarity. You wont be disappointed.

THERE IS NONE BETTER

I have a K1200lt BMW motorcycle with 2 sets of 5.25 component speakers, 1 set of 6x9 infinity, 1 set is of Boston 5.25 component, 1 set of 5.25 Kapa infinity component. The Boston's I have in the back of the bike along with the 6x9, the front of the bike I have Infinity component set all powered by 6/600 w JL audio. The Boston's sound great, and can stand all the power I give them, and most of the time it's on all the way full blast, I have the infinity in front of the bike and are just a little more sharp. But that can't take as much power. Boston's rms is around 110 Infinity's I have are around 85 rms. All in all I like both. I have been told it's about the best sound system that I've heard on a bike. With rain and bad weather, I really can't say any thing bad about either set. I have had speakers that cost more but did not sound as clear, I have over 100,000 miles on the bike in 6 years, and have been in a lot of rain and still ticking with the Infinity's. I hope the Boston's hold up as long.

Great Product for the price

Excellent sound quality they love power so when I really turn it up vocals are crystal clear over the subs in the back.

Exellent BUT make sure you have a 6.5"driver hole

These speakers are very very good. They will pickup every detail and have good power. Make sure you mount the tweeters up front. Most importantly make sure you have a 6.5 driver hole because although they are a 5.25 speaker the driver on it is a 6.5" so for my Cadillac they have to make plates to make it fit. Other than that the sound is very crisp and clear.
