Not Bad
i ordered this pair of speakers for my 2001 accord coupe, the fit was a bit of an issue due to the fact that honda made it difficult to install new speakers. After some of my own craftsmanship i made them work. My problem was i needed a spacer. As far as sound is concerned, im not that impressed. I dont think they really sound much better than stock. This may be because i dont have an amp but idk. Good quality though and price of course.

Did not fit my Toyota Camry
I made some adjustments and managed to get a least a couple screws holding it in. The sound quality is awesome for the size. I have these paired with the Sc 6X9's Boston makes and they sound excellent. Worth the extra money. Much better than the references I bought for my last ride...

Great Subs good price
I've found these to be very good subs at a good price. Very satisfied.
The only minor item is the fuses are a little difficult to access.

Amazing Deal
These speakers are amazing! i bought two pairs of these and they work great! Boston delivers great sound at great quality! By far the best speakers I've had yet. Pro's: the available sizes, the price for quality. very discrete. ( no one would notice them at a glance to steal.) Con's: you might have to adjust the position for the speaker and drill new holes-not a big deal at all, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Nice sound quality for an inexpensive speaker.
Not that I expected any less from Boston Acoustics, but these sound great for the price I paid for them. I have a relatively high powered amp driving them (Alpine PDX 100.4), and I'm not sending low end bass...I have them crossed at about 80hz with an 18db slope using an active crossover. So I can't really speak to how they'd handle a full range application.
I'm giving them a 4 for overall...but that's just because there ARE better speakers out there, but probably not many at this price point. So they do get a 5 for value.

good sound, good price
I used these as rear fill speakers, with more expensive Bostons up front. They function fine, sound good, and are always available at a good price. Have not used them as a primary speaker.

Good Speaker Better Value
I bought this set last year for the backseat doors of my 08 Jeep. Good looking speaker that I bought for a price a little higher than Sonics current price, but still a great deal. I also purchased a KDC-X693 receiver from Kenwood with the speakers and with these two purchases by car sounds awesome. Mids sound good in this speaker, and the mid bass goes well with the subs. Even when I crank my subs these speakers still contribute well and create that clean sound. Doesn't have the loudest highs, but definetly worth the price. If I were to do it again I would probably spend the extra money and get the SR65 instead for the extra punch. I also didn't install them myself so I couldn't tell you if they were easy to intall or not, but I did have to purchase another frame for because they apparently didn't fit.

Quality set of speakers
I have a single cab Tacoma that only had two original speakers in the doors. I purchased these speakers on a hunch and I couldn't be happier. I wired them up along with a single 10 inch subwoofer and these speakers sound crystal clear, even at extremely high volume. Don't expect to generate a lot of bass from these speakers. Do expect great mid-high range sound with no distortion, even at high volumes. Exceeded my expectations for sound quality.

Boston SC65
I bought these speakers around six months ago, and paired them with my Kenwood Excelon KDC-X494 head unit. They sound great!! I also bought the SC55 for my rear deck, but haven't installed them yet. Just having these in the front doors of my Civic have made a huge difference. Sound quality is amazing, mids are tight, and highs are smooth. The tweeters are ten times better than any mylar tweeters I have ever owned. Can't wait to put the SC55's in the back!

Truly Terrific Sound Quality
Keeping it short and sweet, these are some of the absolute best speakers I have ever heard at any price ( I have owned sets costing multiples the price )
Clear as a bell and just as importantly, a very natural sound.
(Do not buy these if your primary interest is bass, these are geared towards sound quality and do not produce a lot of bass)

Great speakers
Ive had these speakers on a Boston GTA704 amp and they are really clean. The highs are clear even at really high volume levels. I'd recommend them. Even the speaker grills look good.

Good Value - Decent Product
Bought two pair of these speakers for my '04 Grand Cherokee. I have always been a fan of Boston's speaker line. These are decent speakers, especially for the price, but don't quite project the frequency range I personally like. Highs are good and it has good mid-range, but very little mid-bass. I have re-installed these speakers a few times in my door trying to emphasize the mid-bass more, but to no avail (rear baffle, sealing door cavity, etc...) The build quality is excellent and they handle power very well with no distortion. Would be great speakers as part of a larger component system (possible a couple 8" subs). I personally have these paired with two 12" subs and missing the mid-bass range. Still a fan of Boston, but these particular speaker were not right for my particular ear/setup.
