Pretty nice

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

i had these before i decided to get an amp. they run pretty good on a HU but im sure they would be better on a low power amp. i sold them to a friend and got some memphis speakers. (also very good. just be sure not to overpower then because i heard they can be easy to blow, but the ones i gave to my friend are still good. sound good

Excellent sound

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

Very good sound. Deep clear bass down to 50Hz.. Crisp highs. Excellent choice if you are not using a sub. Loud and clear sound using head unit amp. Great value.

Not bad, but there are better choices

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

Clarity was good, but almost no low end. I knew that going in, but did not mind since I was adding a sub. If you do not intend to use a sub, you probably want to look at other speakers (like jl, polk, or kicker ks).

SOLID BASS

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

This speakers sound great in my 09 Tacoma. Have them in the front doors, powered by a Clarion HU and they rock. The bass hits very hard for being door mounted speakers. The midrange and treble is great also if you have a decent head unit. The overall sound quality is just what I was hoping for - I'm totally happy with these speakers.

Boston Acoustics S95

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

I installed these in a 1996 Impala SS I fixed up for my daughter. I listened to them a short while and they sounded GREAT! I know my daughter and her friends all remark about how great they sound. Fit very nice too. I think i got a real good deal from Sonic on these.

perfect for oem or aftermarket hu.

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

If you are running stock or aftermarket head-unit, these are the best ones out there. If amped, run less than 25rms. It will create beautiful music to your ears. It will tell you if your recording was good or bad.

Good speakers

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

I would recommend these. Have these running off JCV HU with JBL 3 way in front and these in rear deck. Dampened doors, under rear seat and rear shelf. Turned on and worked like a charm. Put these in wifes Civic sedan and she loves them. She keeps saying I don't want a new stereo. When she heard them she now rocks 'em all the time. Running them off HU is probably not the best but they have plenty of low end and sound pretty doggone good!

Good speakers

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

I had these running on a stock head unit. They sounded clear, but it had very little bass. The highs are awesome, but you probably want a subwoofer to run with these. Its a good buy for boston acoustic speakers.

Boston Acoustics S95 great product

The following review is for a previous version (S95).

These 6x9's are tough and have a great sound. I got them for my truck so they are in a noisy envoroment to begin with. They are efficient speakers and dont require a bunch of power to drive them. I will buy another pair for my firebird when the time comes.
