Last Hope
Previously bought Infinitys to replace aftermarket (Infinity) system and was sad of performance. Almost giving up tried Boston Acoustics SR65 and right out of the box I could see that these were a little smaller than original 6.5 speakers. I am more than glad that I did install these speakers. The SR65 were a good price. More than Infinity previous bought but worth every penny! Not a firm beleiver of getting what you paid for but when it comes to speakers Boston Acoustics will be the only way to go!!! These speakers have been installed for 5mo and yes they do break in after a couple weeks. Running Infinity amp and listen to Rock and wife listens to R&B.

Great buy!
The sr65's play loud and clear. I have 100 watts going to each and they take it with ease. Great bang for the buck. Boston rox!

cant go wrong with Boston Acoustics
I have several Boston Acoustic products and they are all fantastic. These speakers are in my car and are powered by a Boston power amp and the sound is amazing.

SR 65
I wish i would have seen these here before i bought mine at local shop i would have saved a 100 bucks. I am a die hard car audiophile was stuck in the old cerwin vega days from the stealth SS series the best spekaers ever made until i heard these. I have not been impressed for years by any speaker including focal. But the sound these put out is just mind blowing. crisp clean and clear. And yes they do have bass. O my god a coaxial speaker that has bass. The sc series are nice to but these babies put out more boom. note they are a deeper speaker though so watch your depths people. And with the grills they look clean and nice. not like a racing rim. LIKE A SPEAKER! buy them you'll love them too!!

Awesome Speakers
I have had Bostons in three of my auto's and in my theatre room. They never disappoint! Definitely recommend these speakers. Not too 'tingy or extreme highs', more realistic and smooth sound.

Better than 11-year-old Honda stock. No surprise.
I'm pleased with the SR65s. They have much crisper highs and a bit more defined bass than the single-cone stock speakers that were in the Odyssey front doors. But, they're still only 6-1/2 inch speakers. One note: Although the website said they would fit my van, I had to cut away the factory drip shield inside the speaker mounting hole. No big deal. I reinstalled the factory grills.
BTW, I also run an 8-inch Boss amplified subwoofer between the van's front seats.

Accurate, and takes 75 watts RMS.
Anyone who's had Boston Acoustics speakers knows they're amazing. The only thing I could say negative about these is that they are weak in the bass department. Then again, if like me you're looking for a full range speaker that can survive the front channels of a 75 x 4 watt RMS rated amp while you bridge the rear channels to a sub or two, then these are for you. Any way you shake it, these are one of the best high wattage full range (minus bass) you'll find. I dare anyone to find something more accurate.

Sounds Great!
These speakers do a great job! Great sounds as compared to other speakers of equal value! I certainly would recommend these little speakers to anyone wanting a fine sound system. Look good too!
