Dont buy this product for the bluetooth feature

Ever since I installed it i had problems with this head unit-not to mention the bluetooth quality sucks big time, ill get to that in a second. Still to this day the volume knob/wheel is jacked up, sometimes when i go to turn it down, it goes up, and visa versa. Its pretty annoying when you have to turn down the volume for a phone call, and it gets louder and louder. on more than one occasion i had to just press the mute button cause i could not get the volume to go down, but now if the bluetooth sounded anywhere close to decent, i would just use that. the person on the other end can barely hear you. I had to yell into the mic for the other end to hear. and the short cable doesnt help. if it was long enough i would route it under the dash, and have it come up the steering column right before the wheel, but i cant.

ALSO, there was a phase when it would not play CDs. i would put one in, and it would read it until i turned the car off, it wouldnt let me eject, or switch to another source, it was locked up until i turned the car off. then i could eject the cd. then one night i left my lights on, and ran the battery dead until i got a jump, and after that i havent had that problem, guess it needed a full reboot....junk

AND, when i am playing a CD, it WILL NOT let me change tracks! when i hit "next" it restarts, and gives me the "welcome" that scrolls across the screen, and starts playing where it left off...

so why spend $150 on something that you have to "deal with" and know all the tricks just to play some freakin music, when you can get a much better unit for cheaper and you wont have problems.

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION:
i do NOT recommend, for ANY unit, letting the fancy "bluetooth compatible" make the decision on whether to buy it or not. you will hardly ever use it, and the other end will struggle to hear you so much, that you will cancel it, and end up picking up your phone anyway...
