ok for what it is
I found this stand to be too short, and I find that the headband holder keeps popping off its support. I'd consider this a good headphone stand in the sub-$20 range, but as it stands, I'm disappointed with my purchase. I use it for a pair of headphones that don't get much use anymore, and I bought a different stand for my Audeze headphones.

simple, but works fine
It's very simple and easy to assemble, but has hidden tabs and slots to hold it together, so it's better designed than might be apparent. The top pad is long and curved and soft enough that there is little deformation of the headphone pad. It is tall enough for my "full-size" HD600s, but those big klonky "Aw-Deez" planar mag headphones would probably not fit.
