what i wanted and in my budget

it is great I am truely in love have always been an audiophile and now i can achieve in my car what I have in my home i wwould put it up against higher dollar units

good material for the price

I have thap DSP for 2 years now, running verry good, have no probleme, easy to use. I control 8 transducter with that guy. It improve alot my system. One thing I don't like I don't have the soft ware on CD so when my hold laptop will stop, I will lost my DSP. I try to get that soft ware on Cadence site ,I couldn't get it.. Maybe they stop the production. Because of that I give 3 stars.

Works Great, Sounds Great

This DSP is better than I expected. I have a strange setup in my car, in that the front door has a tweeter, mid, and 8" woofer in each door. This DSP allows me to amplify and crossover each channel separately. The sound quality is great and it's easy to set up with the included software.

I’d give this 5 stars because it does everything I wanted in a DSP for a good price, HOWEVER- I don’t reccomend this if you have a large subwoofer because whenever there are any sort of moderate vibrations (especially 50-70hz) coming in contact with the front display, it will turn down the master volume. Also the 7 segment display doesn’t display the numbers correctly a lot of the time, especially during any sort of vibrations. Not sure if this is just a faulty device because I’ve not heard of this issue before, and there times when the bass is actually at a low volume and the thing turns down. Also It takes about 10 seconds for it to boot up, like mentioned in a past review. Other than that, the device is versatile and does everything I need it to do.

the affordable flagship dsp for SQ lovers and more

ok so i have been eyeballing this dsp for some time due to its price and specification i was looking for.my decision turn out to be smack on right with the sound quality i wanted in my system.lets get to the point am ruing the unit 3 way active with and old pioneer premier deh 9800bt jl audio 1000/v2 audiocontrol epicenter with a modified 28hz chip and sundown X15 ported tune to 30 hz jl audio 300/4 v2 JBL tweeterst and deka batters.my lows hits lower than a nut sack with constant kick and thumps all because of the 4.8 the program is very friendly to use and is noticeably accurate.the control works very well when programmed and the rca output voltage sounds very strong like 5 volts should overall this unit is worth the price.the bad part is the turn on delay takes like 7 seconds before sound comes out.this cadence dsp will knock the shoes of the over price big boys like ARC ALPINE HELIX AUDISON PPI SOUND STREAM AND MOST OF ALL ROCKFORD 3SIXTY.3 that brakes for know point at all !!!!. SONIC ELECTRONICS IS THE BEST PLACE TO SHOP ONLINE HANDS DOWN THEY SHIP TO CANADA LIKE AND lightning strike.

Nice customization but high noise floor

Let me start by saying the customization is excellent and it does everything I need. I previously eliminated the noise floor in my system by upgrading rca cables, higher quality headunit and higher quality amps. Now after adding this dsp the noise is back, I've checked everything and it is indeed the dsp. Very unfortunate that this is the case.

Great value!

This DSP does exactly what it's supposed to do. The software is no-frills but relatively intuitive to use. Bang for the buck, this is a great buy. Things that I wish it had are android compatibility so that I could control it with my android head unit and it would be nice to have a longer USB cable.

Damn good for the price.

I like this unit allot. It does what all the other dsp's on the market do. Crossover time and eq each channel. It needs software work but there's a guy that is one of the car audio forums that works for cadence and is working with all of us who bought one. Product support is #1 for me.

Does everything it says, so much control for 8 different channels. 4 inputs, so perfect. I wish there was a way to wirelessly program it without usb cable

Good car digital processor

Probably the best proccesor with all features. Works great with the pc and remote control is awesome. Great push from rca outputs. And a genius parametric eq for each one of the 8 outs.
