Better speakers than before

After removing and installing these new speakers, there is a notable difference in fidelity. I left rear factory speakers installed then compared new ones in front to rear using the fader control, and no doubt the H4683 are far superior than factory speakers. Bass has increased, along with better highs. Obviously a triax can give a better frequency response than a simple cone speaker. The best part is this speaker can take a lot more power than what I will ever drive them, and they still sound great at 5 to 10 watts RMS each. The JVC radio can do up to 22 watts RMS, yet I don't need my volume more than half way before loudness becomes excessive. Remember these speakers are efficient @ 93 db per watt, this makes them twice at loud than a 90 db speaker at 1 watt (check out specs). Speakers definitely show a difference under testing.

Wish I would have ordered two sets

I put these in the front doors of my Taurus after I found some Polks I had put in the back of the car. These have so much more bass and a fuller more listenable ( not as harsh) sound I wish I had waited and got two sets and put one in the back door too!
