Excellent mid and highs

I installed these in my 88 Corvette C4. They are hooked up to my 4 channel Cervin Vega amp and hit hard and sound very clear and crisp. Would highly recommend these 6x9's.

Astounding upgrade from stock!

2006 Toyota Tacoma factory speakers are weird. Teeny weeny magnets and the whole speaker is paper poo poo. Cerwin vega makes excellent speakers and they are a world of difference in clarity and volume.

The sound is great, I've never had bass applied to any of the speakers due to subwoofers in the truck. So I took them out and applied a moderate amount of bass. Couple of weeks go by and boom, one speaker woofer is busted with really almost no bass running to them.

Sounded great for a short while

These were an upgrade for my old cheap 6x9’s. I was skeptical at first, but the reviews convinced me these were a solid choice despite the small price tag. I guess you get what you pay for. Zero chance these handle 70 watts rms. I’m running two infinity ref 6 1/2s up front on the same infinity ref 704a 4 ch amp my 6x9s are hooked up to. The infinity’s have been eating up everything my amp feeds it. The Cerwin Vegas sounded amazing until one of the tweeters started cracking and popping. I’m very disappointed. It’s a pain, but I will send these back for replacements. They won’t do rated so I guess I’ll have to baby them or get something that can handle high volume on the regular. If you like your music blasting, I recommend something else. I’ve been wanting Cerwin Vegas since the 90’s. Very bummed right now.

I bought these for the sound bar in my 2021 Jeep Gladiator along with MBQUART 6X9 speaker mounting kit [JE1-169SB] and now I have some Bass !! Perfect fit and sound great . Takes me back to the late 70's and early 80's when I had cerwin vega home system the sound there was great so I gave them a try in my Jeep. Now I have all cerwin vega replacement speakers in the jeep . Highly recommend !
