An awesome addition to my system!

So far, I love these tweeters! The crossovers are by far some of the better ones I've found with tweeters. I'm running them in parallel with my front 5-way Pioneers and they're crystal clear! One of the hardest hole saws to find was the one needed to flush mount these, an 1-7/8" hole saw. But I found one! A 2" is too big and 1-1/2" is too small. ONE WORD OF CAUTION not mentioned on any website but mentioned in the almost worthless "manual" included in the box is that you MUST install a pair of 8-ohm 20-watt resistors inline on the positive lead going IN to the crossover if you are hooking them up to a high-power amp!!! NOT installing resistors voids the warranty! Trust me, they ARE needed! I fried a brand new pair of Alpine tweeters before these by not knowing this tip! But after I found and installed the resistors, these tweeters rock! In fact, I like them so much, I've purchased a second pair for the back! Now I'm running 4 of these in parallel with 4-way Pioneers up front and 5-way Pioneers in back through a Rockville 7-band equalizer and a 2000-watt Nakamichi 4-channel amp and I can't be happier! I highly recommend these tweeters! My favorite feature is their beautiful, very functional crossovers! But IF you purchase a pair of these and are going to hook them to an amp, MAKE 100% SURE you purchase a pair of 8-ohm 20-watt resistors or you'll be ordering a new pair the next day!

I am sure at a normal volume, these perform well as they are bright and precise; however, at loud rate for extended periods these do not stand-up to the task.
