cerwin Vega v469 awesome 2 way speakers

Very clear deep bass easy install sounds great hooked to a cerwin Vega amp the bass is awesome sounding

Just installed theses cerwinvvega V469. Need to break them in. But so far they sound amazing. I havecthe cerwin vega hed31200x4. Mud bass is nice tweeters very good.

Darn good speaker

I'll start with this. It's Cerwin Vega, these guys have been making audio products since the 50's, you'd like to think they have figured it out in the last 60+ years. For a budget 6x9 these speakers are hands down the best value I could have hoped for. My last pair of 6x9s were Type S Alpines and these (in my opinion) sound better than the higher dollar speaker. I didn't buy these to add bass to my listening experience, though they do a damn good job at it without the hp filter doing it's part. They are clean and they get loud without distortion, I would definitely buy these again.

Hell yea! Love these. Amplified in my front doors. Bass is reduced off deck because I have a sub. They put out crisp clean highs and mids. Maybe bass too. But not sure because I filtered it out lol.

Impressive

Took a chance on the v469s and the v465s. Used Cerwin Vega in the 80s. Put the 6x9s in a sealed box separated with .5 cubic feet each. Put the 6.5 in smaller boxes. Running them off of an nvx vad11005. Very impressive sound from highs to lows. Haven’t pushed them very hard yet but they will get load and clear and put out some pretty good thump depending on how u set your filters. We will see how they last but so far I am impressed. Have had or heard about all brands of speakers in the last 30+ years. Can’t recall any sounding any better. Would definitely recommend these so far. 4 stars because they are new. Also bought a Cerwin Vega 12” sub. Still adjusting and breaking in but the potential is there

6x9's Powerful, clarity, strength, sweet sound.

Cerwin Vega does not disappoint. Had the subwoofers back in the day and you could hear them several blocks away. These 6x9s are on point. They sound just as amazing as they look. They have a huge service area, they have the signature orange around perimeter. The tweeter hits those mids and highs with confidence and ask for more juice. Very please and happy with this product.

I have owned Cerwin Vega speakers for years now. My home theater consists of Vega speakers. My desktop speakers are Cerwin Vega so now It would only make sense to get some for my Jeep Compass. The speakers on my Jeep were decent to be honest. They had good bass and decent midrange. Well, after installing these and some sound damping insulation, they took my Jeeps sound to another level. Everything sounds more loud, crisp and clean. The bass on these is phenomenal! The midrange is excellent and the highs are load and clear that I actually had to turn down the treble a bit. Overall I am satisfied with these speakers and of course Vega did not disappoint. I did however have to install some washers behind the screws when I mounted these in since the magnet on the back was up against the mechanism of the window for my Jeep.

These are the REAL DEAL

I bought mine a year and a half ago from Sonic Electronics, although it was on eBay so I'm not sure if they'll show it verified. But this set of 6x9's was my first upgrade, and they're still performing at a very high level. Originally, they were powered by an aftermarket deck with about 20W per channel and they had a good well balanced sound. However, it was when I added the 100W/channel amp that these really came alive.
I've since added a powered sub, and 2 mid bass 6.5" speakers below my Vega's, to go with my 5.75" door speakers. The system is decently loud, with no distortion,but the Vega's are still the anchors of the setup. (Even though I thought those 6.5's would be louder, they're not) The music I listen to is EXTREMELY taxing on speakers, but these Vega's are still doing great.
I want to throw this in real quick: Remember that some speakers really do need to have an amplifier. The reason, is that if you don't have enough power, you'll likely overdrive your deck, and pump distortion through your speakers. And distortion is DEADLY to speakers. You always want to run CLEAN POWER to your speakers, it's easier to blow speakers with distortion than too much clean power, seriously. I'm certain that the reason my Vegas are still sounding great is because I know NOT to over drive the amp. But I have to confess, these things are MADE for Heavy Metal!!????

A worthy upgrade for the front door speakers

I used these to replace the stock 6-1/2" speakers in the front doors of a 24 Tacoma. The difference was stunning. More robust, deeper bass, clear midrange, and impactful highs. Installation was easy peasy with the wiring harness and mount suggested by Sonic Electronix, and combined with the baffle, made for a superior sound profile compared to stock
