Great Value, Fast shipping, Good Budget little subs.

I purchased these subs with a Belva amp and Belva amp kit. I decided I just wanted a bit more bass to complete my sound system since I recently purchased the new Pioneer DMH 2660 head unit. I am running my factory Bose mids and highs and these two tens have more bass than I need. My goal was to spend as little as possible and just get some extra bass. The sound quality is ok not as good as my JL audio 12 inch W1 I used to own. Although I decided to try the Cerwin Vegas since the were at a good price and Cerwin Vega products have a decent reputation. They are somewhat good not great. At any rate for 190 dollars for 2 tens in a box an amp and a wiring kit, it sort of surpassed my expectations. Sonic Electronix has fast delivery and better prices than anyone I have seen.

Delivery was right on time and not delivered at night. Thank goodness. The first day I plugged them in and sound just as good if not better than what I replaced. I replaced these with 2 Belva 10 inch sub in an enclosure with 1000w max for the pair and I think it was 500 rms for the pair as well. The Belva Subs lasted about 2 years before they blew. Hopefully, these subs will last longer than Belva. Only time will tell. If you are on a budget the Belva and the Cerwin-Vega would be the way to go. From my understanding, everything is made to break nowadays.

Very very nice for the price.

2022 Honda HRV. Factory head unit. Paired with a Fosgate Prime 750 mono block. Impressive sound quality with an impressive output.

The ported enclosure is well matched for these subs. I'm very impressed at the output considering the compact size. The sound quality seems like a good compromise between accuracy and SPL. I would highly recommend these for most most people, but enthusiasts and audiophiles will always have valid critiques. Quality amp and these cheap subs were a winner for me.

A quality amplifier with sufficient RMS power is essential. I previously powered these with a "1000 watt rms" Crunch amplifier. It sounded mostly acceptable but the amp would overheat regularly. The Fosgate 750 watt amp make these sound amazing.

Still waiting to get

I'm looking forward to hearing my new box however after a week after it should of arrived,I'm still waiting for it to be delivered.
