loud
I recommend using this sub in a ported box for maximum bump. I have it in my Jeep with an 800 watt Cerwin Vega amplifier.

GREAT ENTRY LEVEL SUB
I have this hooked up to a planet audio 4 channel amp bridged at 200 watts and it gets plenty loud.
I have it in a scar audio vented box and it is loud enough to hurt your ears with just one subwoofer in the right box. Don't expect to win any competitions with a entry level sub but do expect to rattle your windows.

Great Little 2 Channel
Compact size for the power. Clean, distortion-free sound. JL Audio continues to make quality amplifiers even after the retirement of the Slash series. It is handling rear fill in my truck and is more than up to the task. It also has a low power draw, which is a big help. If I were going to nitpick it would be nice if they included a fuse holder but since I'm running from a fused distribution block it really isn't an issue, just something that would be nice to have.

Love It!
I've only had my JL Audio XD200/2v2 installed for a couple weeks now but so far I love it. For a single smaller sub this is a great amp.
