Great speakers for the price

If you are looking for a factory upgrade for your basic system, these are a great option, especially for the price. They are not the highest fidelity, but if you are not building a high-end system, then you don't need that. The tweeters can be a bit harsh, and the low end a little sloppy, but again these are not competition speakers, they are upgrades over the factory and they do that well.

Great set of components for the price. I would recommend them for many different reasons number one would be because they fit in my front door with no spacers and they're easy to install number two would be because of price and quality of sound that you receive. They are Cerwin Vegas so you expect something good and you get more than you expect. I have no complaints whatsoever and will buy another set for my wife's van.

Always been a fan of Cerwin Vega speakers

I chose these for my 2002 Audi TT. The door speakers were completely blown. I didn't have to use the included crossovers because the Bose system already had it. And it sounds amazing! I can finally turn it up and more bass and not here crackling.

Great sound for the price

These are great upgrades for a factory system. The drivers do well with the low end and the tweeters are crisp. The XO could be a little more filed in but for the price I'm not complaining. I installed these in a 2016 kia forte 5. Some modifications were needed in my case for fitment but the result was great. Also I'm running off the factory HU so should you decide to run an aftermarket amplifier, your results will be even better than mine.

Know the speaker rating

I'm giving this review to hopefully clarify for others any misinformation about the power ratings of these speakers. Firstly, they are Cerwin Vega so the quality and great sound are there for you. The component speakers I'm using sound great. Now for clarification. I've seen a couple different ratings out there mostly overstating the power rating of the speakers, meaning the wattage. These speakers are Cerwin Vega XED650C 35 Watt RMS/300 Watt Max. Depending on the age and model of your vehicle these aren't much of an upgrade over factory speakers but are better and budget friendly.

Surprised by the value!

Was skeptical at first due to the price point.... After installing 2 sets in my car, I am really impressed with the performance. I have an Alpine 200 watt amp powering them all at 4ohms and they are really clear. Even with unleveled music from YouTube and Spotify, I never have any issues with distortion or anything. They came with a bracket for tweeter installation as well.

I bought these speakers and a Power Acoustic Radio and I cant believe how good these speakers sound at only 50 bucks. Bass out performed factory and highs are clear and crisp and they get loud. Very impressed!!

For the Price Not Bad

So a quick to the point honest review.
Pros: great value and for those vehicles that already have a tweeter space a product like this is great for plug and play, I LOVE how I did not need to splice the factory tweeter wires to utilize these!!!
Cons: without an amplifier these do not sound all that I was so dissapointed when I installed these (before installing my amp) but I guess they are power demanding day/night difference with amp installed

3rd vehicle I've installed these in!

First set I installed in an 03 Saturn ion. Then my 02 AUDI A6 with a full build system. Now my 93 Toyota T100 ranch truck. Not a true 6 1/2" speaker but that has turned out to be a great advantage. They fit a good variety of spaces and sound absolutely great! Very crisp and clean! I definitely recommend and plan to buy more! Next set is going in my 89 Toyota pickup that I've built as a trail truck. Upgrading the current system to components from 2 ways. Absolutely great product for value!

Very nice build quality, thought the grill and speaker mount flanges were a bit thin and could be improved, imo. But thats a personal note, not a ding. Very nice woofers.

Crossover hasnt been tested yet, I needed to replace two open coil paper speakers, so my tweeters need some intention before they get installed. When they do, the front doors in my '99 Durango will be the front channel coming out of a FOCAL 4-ch amp. Should sound like butter.
