Does the job!
It does the job excellent. The only problem is that if you want to use the USB or the 3.5mm without disconnecting the iPod you can't. Besides that no problem at all.

CCA-691
The CCA-691 is a great purchase for anyone who wishes to utilize an ipod with their car stereo. Once the adapter is attached the ipod can be operated directly through head unit. The install is simple, and the ipod’s navigation tools remain the same.
The CCA-691 powers the ipod directly through the head unit so there are no worries with battery life.
The only flaw I have come across deals with searching for a song through the head unit. If I navigate (scroll up or down) to quickly the ipod locks up. This probably has nothing to do with the CCA-691 cable and is more common with the ipod itself.
