Great Sound

These speakers replace my boats factory speakers. I hooked them up to a Sony XM604M Marine amp along with 2 other speakers and the sound quality was excellent. A big improvement. I can now hear decent sound while boat is in motion and very good sound when at rest.

Great all-around speaker

Have four of these puppies installed in my Mastercraft boat. They're very nice sounding and can handle ALOT of power. I do alot of wakeboarding and on a quiet day I can hear them about 70 feet away from the boat, and even over the engine noise. Excellent bass production and mids, highs are good, however, I have heard the clarion component speakers and by comparison they are much better. But for the price and ease of installation, would highly recommend these, especially over pyle, boss, etc. These are a legitimate car speaker that is designed for a marine environment, they're very, very solid. Plain looking, but look good in a boat where everything is typically white anyway.

Bought this unit to replace the OEM which came in my sport boat. Just as good as the one that came from the factory. Highly recommend.

Great Speakers

I installed a second set of the clarion 1625's in the radar arch and now with the four speakers the sound is great.Great looking with great sound.

Very good value

I replaced the original Clarion speakers that have been on our boat for the last eleven years. The new speakers work beautifully, and were very easy to replace. Took about five minutes to replace each speaker.

Although I purchased them last fall, today was the first time I had the opportunity to replace them as the boat was delivered from winter storage over the past weekend.

Value speakers for the Marine Environment

These marine speakers were replacements for the exact same model. The originals were in our boat for four years and despite being enclosed and protected from heavy weather, had deformed and deteriorating cones with distorted sound.

Good product

These speakers are working great for us. I am able to use my HTC EVO or iPod to play music. I did have a bit of trouble hooking it up and had to get help.

great value

I purchased these speakers and have been very pleased with them. I put them on my 4wheeler and the sound is great and they have been through rain, sun, and rough riding. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great price but not impressed with the output. I installed in a boat and doesn't output enough volume.

I purchased these speakers to replace my factory cockpit speakers in my 40' Sailboat. They are mounted with a very large locker behind each mount. I first installed them without an amplifier but noticed they did not sound too much different than the speakers I just replaced them with? So I ordered a high quality amp to run the speakers. They now have 60 watts RMS going to each speaker. This did the trick!! They are now a completely different speaker. The amp brought out all of the range these speakers were designed to do. They are plenty loud even over the engine when I am motoring along when there is no wind to sail. To summarize my review would be; If you are thinking about purchasing these speakers and running them off of your deck power (even if it's 22-30 watts rms) FORGET IT! you're wasting your money! These speakers were obviously designed with an amplifier in mind! They are hungry for "REAL" power and they're more than worth every penny! I was pleasantly surprised how full and powerful these speakers are especially for the price! No regrets.

Good Value

Replaced two units that had begun to deteriorate after five years, although they both continued to operate. Cones had badly deformed!

Easy to Install

The replacement units we purchased were easy to install and very attractive. We installed them late in the boating season. The sound is of a good quality and more time next summer will allow me the time we need to really understand just how much the sound quality has improved.

This is a great product and would recommend the speakers to any boat owner. These have been put through some horrific storms and keep on screaming. For the price you cant buy a better speaker.

Great Speaker

CM1625 Review

I have two pair of the CM1625's on my 22' Pro-line.

These are good low end speakers, sound great, installed easy and have held up well.

temporary speakers

The Clarions are good for one season only. Even though my boat sits under a covered lift the speaker rot out each year. Sun kills these things and they would be better for a car vs a boat.

Great Radio

Works well and is easy to use on the water. Sonic did a great job with getting the radio to me. The web site was easy to use and it was on time as promised.

I ordered these along with a Clarion M 109 stereo head. Very good price and good quality. Installed in my boat. Good volume without an extra amp.

Ok for the $$

I bought these speakers to replace an older pair of the same model. The old ones lasted for 14 years and before they fall apart, sound pretty good. I’m not as happy with the CM1625. I will replace them with a higher quality next season.

Clarion EQ

Since the first time I bought this Clarion EQ, I have had faster access to regulate my systems sound rather than having to push many buttons from my radio. Not only would I had access to my sound faster but, with the equalizer, it has improve my sound system even louder. The bad thing that I could only think about this product, having people knowing the great quality of Clarion and still it.

New Clarion Speakers for my Boat

The factory speakers on my boat needed replacement. The Clarion's fit perfectly, and sound better than the original speakers. After six months of wet weather, they still sound new. You can't beat the price or the fast service from Sonic.

Clarion CM1625 Speakers

I need a pair of speakers to replace the old ones on my boat. I had to be an exact fit. I wasn't sure if these would work or not but after talking to the people at Sonic that assured me the would work I purchased them. They work great.

Do not last

Just removed a pair from my 2008 Rampage, they where installed in the hard top and never got wet but the cone material is completely gone!

I bought 4 of these for my boat.

They work very well & I am pleased with them. I have had them for 6 mo.s and they are performing as well as expected.

Clarion CM1625

Several months ago I purchased and received from Sonic Electronix a pair of Clarion CM1625 speakers. I have recently installed them in my boat. They are great speakers and if I had room to put two more I would purchase them from Sonic again.
