awesome!!

ive had this radio for almost a month now and have no complaints so far , other than the buttons u have to hit them in a certain spot, but they just take some gettin use to. it does everything it advertised to do and for the price u cant go wrong. i was always told to stay away from clarion head units but now i cant see why. the usb hook up is nice, i got a 8gb stick that i plug in so no more cds , and the tunning is real easy, my next radio will def be a clarion and i will def get it from sonic

Great Budget Headunit with USB

I bought this as an upgrade for the factory headunit in my MINI Cooper S. It has USB, plays MP3 and WMA.

Works great and sounds good. It has subwoofer outs and adjustable EQ. I would recommend this for someone who does not need bluetooth and is looking for an economical upgrade for a factory headunit.

Put one of these in as a temporary radio and was really surprised. Clarion headunits have come a long way and really look good this year cosmetically. In my opinion, the main plus about this unit is the fact that you can hook up your ipod directly to the rear usb. Most ipod ready usb head units these days all have the usb port in the front, I think the rear usb provides a much cleaner look, running the usb to the glove compartment. No extra cables needed, just the ipod usb wire that the ipod comes with. Scrolling through the ipod menu is really fast as well. Another plus about this unit is that it is ready for the steering wheel adaptor (PAC SWIJACK), which with other brands only comes with a little higher end headunits. All in all, for the price and features, you can't go wrong with this.

Great value for the money

I really like this unit - easy to operate and packed with features. It was simple to install and looks great in place of the stock unit. It performs flawlessly and sounds great. I love it!!

good radio

I buy this radio loved everything about it but one thing I didn't like about it and that was the radio stations going in and out as I drive. That was driving me crazy. But other then that the radio has great sound and a lot of setting for audio.

Was worth the money

Well, this CD player does everything you'd expect from a cd player. It sounds pretty good. It does what it says it should do. Had a little problem getting it installed, but that was related to the car that it was going into.

Looks great, easy to use

I put this radio into my friend's ZJ, and he is very happy with it. The lights are BLUE, the picture makes them look purple, but trust me, it's just the picture. The deck has a lot of power too, it runs the door speakers to their limits pretty easily. The iPod control is very easy to learn, just make sure your iPod has updated software, my friend's iPod wasn't working, until I realized he hadn't updated since 2006. The long cord was a definite plus, making it easy to route to his center console. Overall, there isn't much I can say bad about it, a solid buy, and it has 2 sets of pre-outs, making it easy for a system upgrade later.

Very bright large display. Ease of use. I connect my Ipod and conceal it in the glove compartment and control it from the unit.

Clarion cz200 deck

the install was easy and straight forward, i love the looks and the features are great especially the USB. I cant say anything bad it all works great. I definitely would recommend!

Terrible stereo

We just had one installed and it is garbage.
1) You can't search your IPod for anything but A-Z. Not bad if you only have a couple bands. If you have more you better get used to only hearing from the "A's"
2) You have to manually set up blutooth connection each and every time. You can't just get in, start it up and have it sync... like EVERY other stereo.
3) Stupidity of the button layout.

You're better off with a stock radio then this garbage deck.

Great stereo, difficult iPod control

The stereo made my stock speakers sound awesome! The price was great! I would recommend this stereo to anyone. The one thing that's been bugging me though is that you can't change your music from the iPod itself, you have to change songs/playlists/artists/etc. through the stereo. This doesn't sound so bad unless you've got 100 artists on there and you're looking for Shakira. It takes about 50 turns of the dial to get to her, and if you pause for 5 seconds (say to DRIVE..) it goes back to the beginning. My solution was to make a few good playlists, and go with shuffle.

What a great product at an unbeatable price. Had some wiring issues on my end and Sonic support team was first rate. Love the USB, remote, detachable face and the radio has better reach than I ever expected (or had). 5 stars to Sonic and Clarion.

Really good

When I put in this new head unit I had two mids in the rear deck that were blown, but with this in they didnt even sound blown. USB port is really convenient it fits right under my armrest compartment and doesn't leave the cables hanging out the front of the radio. Really good sound.
