I'm replacing my CZ500 with the CZ305 only because my AUX input stopped working properly(four years passed before it had a defect.) I'll admit I was dreading having to switch head units. I thought it would negatively affect my SQ but I needed working AUX capability(it doesn't hurt that it's Pandora supported through Bluetooth either.) My new unit is paired with the Clarion EQS 746(as was my previous unit) and the CZ305 sounds so much cleaner than the CZ500. I recommend it to anyone.

Clarion CZ305 Review

I thought the radio was great! My brother and I purchased it for my mom for Mother's Day to put it in her thunderbird (2005). The thing I love about this website is that you put in the type of car you have, and it tells you which radios will fit. It's very helpful, especially for me, because I know nothing about cars. We took it into a place where they install car radios, and saved a bunch of money by bringing in our own rather than buying the radios they sell. You could install it yourself but personally I would have no idea on how to. We did have to purchase wiring in order for it to be installed and function properly. They also wanted $100 more to install the thing to allow the buttons on the steering wheel to still function, but we decided to opt out of that.

Amazing deck!

This stereo has super crisp sound. I have owned quite a few systems in just the past few years and this one hands down blows them away with the clarity it has. The dynamic EQ can be tricky to tune for the average person though. But once you get it right, it sounds absolutely fantastic. Even my stock speakers sounded decent with just this stereo. Just got jbl gto 4x6 in the back and 4" in the front doors. Now it sounds absolutely ridiculous compared to what I started with when I bought the car lol

Clarion is top notch

Great value and awesome quality. Put this in a camper and really could not be happier. Paired with Polk shallow mount boat speakers and realty nice sound. The menu wAs not as easy to navigate as some others so have to give 4.5 stars. But quality ans sound and sound is great. Great shipping and service from vendor.

Clarion CZ305

I really like the user friendly controls and the cool blue display. Good quality and what I would expect from clarion and at fair price I might add. The only part I don't like is they don't give you a case for the face plate.

Love it.

For the price this deck has been great. Love the blue. My only complaints are the display is too bright at night even turned all the way down and it seems the Bluetooth is a little finicky at times but that's BT for you. Otherwise loving it thanks Clarion and Sonic for a great price on it as well!
Also fast delivery.

Clarion unit

I have always liked Clarion head units and this one is no different. It has all the options you could want and puts out that crystal clear sound a clarion normally does.
Does take some getting used to as far as scrolling through all the options and setting for initial setup.
