Great unit !
I originally purchased this unit to pair up with the EQS746 but had a change of mind when I read the reviews for the kenwood X693. After installing the kenwood I was impressed with all the features it had but the sound quality was not what I was looking for, don't get me wrong the X693 sounds good but just seemed to be missing something. I decided to go with my original plan and install the clarion along with the EQ, this was a bit of a problem due to the fact that a dash kit with an EQ provision was not available for my car. After searching around for someone that could make one I proceeded with the install and let me tell you this setup looks and sounds fantastic. The Ipod control is blazing fast and all the features are simple to use. This was the first unit that actually lit up with out having to power the unit on to see the controls and the clock display. the only drawback to this unit is you have no color choice like the X693 but sometimes we have to sacrifice one thing in order to get what we want. Buy it you will not be disappointed.
