It was fast and easy to work with Sonic Electronix's and when I had a return on another item it was not questions asked.

Looks good, need to install to test for sound

Everything looks great, just need to power up to check it out. I didn't get my question answered, If I will need to do the Power On software upgrade?

Great radio for boat or motorcycle

I had a Clarion M505 in my boat and really liked it. I had a different stereo on the after market fairing on my motorcycle, It was blue tooth and rang through the speakers when I got a cal. It had low level RCA outputs for the amp causing distortion at higher volumes. Also, it was a car stereo and unlikely to hold up to the conditions. I decided to install an M505 on my bike since it is blue tooth that doesn't ring when I get a call. It has high level RCA outputs with the aux in and USB are on the front, making them convenient.

Clarion M505

I used the M505 to replace an older Clarion M455 unit on my boat because it did not have a dedicated sub output or bluetooth. The M505 fit exactly in the same hole without modifications. I have two wired remotes CMRC1 that did not work with the M505, I had to install a special adapter cable to go from the 6 pin to the new 8 pin DIN connector. While the old wired remotes do work with the M505, the displays light up but do not show anything. The M505 was easy to set up and is intuitive to control. Since I have an aux input on my dash, I would have liked an Auxiliary output in the back of the unit like the M455,

CLARION M505

REPLACED THE OLD CLARION IN MY SEARAY 210 BC IT HAD STOPPED WORKING AND ITS FABULOUS. EXCELLENT SOUND AND FEATURES AND ALSO WORKS WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL ALREADY EXISTING IN THE BOAT. EXCELLENT PRODUCT. RECOMMENDED 100%
