OK...But Not Great
I decided on this unit after searching the web for a decent head unit for a decent price (Sonic's price is awesome, BTW!). I didn't think a Clarion unit would be an issue, but....
It will lock up while using my 4th gen iPod. The unit needs to be turned off and on again to reset it. I have read that the iOS on the iPod needs to be downgraded to work properly. Sorry Clarion...upgrade your firmware to work with the latest accessories!!
It will randomly change to different screens (iPod screen to Input Selection screen to Navigation screen)
The navigation and bluetooth work pretty well, but the software bugs are enough to make me want to tear it out and get something else and Clarion's website seems to offer little to no support.
I thought Clarion, being first and foremost car audio, would never release a unit with these kinds of bugs. I guess the are right up there with the rest of the corporate world who sacrifices quality for profit.

great buy
Installation is relatively easy, just a plug and play system. Sound quality it puts out is absolutely astonishing, even on factory speakers. There is a definite learning curve to using the deck. Equalizer is a little small, and Bluetooth pairing is difficult, and freezes up if the device moves at all.

Cool features and design but freezes very often
I was very exited by getting this GPS unit because I saw a review saying that it's outstanding and is one of the most complete head units and it really contain cool features, however it freezes often the controls stop responding always and I need to turn it off to stop the music or going to a feature that I need and that's really frustrating.
The GPS unit it's very out of date or I don't know what's wrong but it use to take me 1 or 2 block away from the address that I'm looking for and it happens at least 40% of the times.
I use to buy pioneer units and I never had a bad experience they always full my expectations but this time I decided to try whit clarion and I'm really disappointed the screen is really bad compared to pioneer's units it's too glare, the processor sims to be to slow for all the features.
As pros for this unit I could say that when it works properly it's great it has a lot of cool features and options to customize the interface looks good and has cool colors. Anyway I'm gonna try to update the firmware to see if it gets better and stops freezing so much. I really hope it gets better that would be so cool.

Clarion nx602
Do not recommend this unit because I've only has it for a month, and do what I'm seeing I don't know how long it will actually last. No extra warranty options so I most likely will lose out in my money. No feature or benefit means anything if the unit itself doesn't last.

Very robust product after 2 years
I bought it here about 2 years ago for good price. No problem with shipping. Made installed by local pro – I believe this was an excellent idea. I think ppl who had some problems, they didn’t install it correctly. I also added 4 new clarion speakers. Unit is working very well; I’m using it minimum 3 hours per day. It is paired with my Samsung S3.
For music, if you have few giga, it is better to copy it to USB key or SD card - it is working very well like that. If you want to play from your cell, it takes forever to load.
Very good quality of calls, synchronizing with cell contacts sometimes can be tricky.
Quality of sound is excellent for the price you pay. I’m listening often classical music which is very demanding on quality and I’m quite satisfied. One remark - the choice of equaliser is too small.
Other weak point is, if the temperature is below -20C all preseted radio stations are gone.
I’d love Clarion could add to GPS live traffic info, even this from google would be welcome.

2 more months will make 2 years with this headunit. Amazing! Im sure their is a newer model out yet but this headunit is nice. Clarion also has updates so your headunit stays up to date.

Possibly the best for the money
I just finished the installation of this Clarion NX602, and I'm still learning some of the features. So far, this unit is quite possibly one of the best in its class, especially in value!
The installation was in a 2011 Grand Cherokee, which was no easy task, but with a PAC wiring adapter (and great customer tech support) it was as feasible as could be expected for a novice.
Once the unit was installed, the initial set up of the unit was very self-explanatory through the on-screen menus. The touch screen is very responsive, with swiping enabled to change home-screens. I wired up a back up camera as well, which comes on very quickly when the vehicle is placed in Reverse.
The Bluetooth works very well, and loads my missed, received, dialed, and contacts lists into the head unit. The unit promptly mutes music for a call automatically, then resumes when completed.
The ONLY downfall I've found so far is that Pandora will not play from an Android based phone... Apparently that feature is reserved for iphones. Big mistake there Clarion... Very disappointing.
Even with that major drawback, it's still an amazing unit for the money, and as far as speed, I would say it compares with the newest Kenwood models for hundreds of dollars less.

Good for the price
My Tahoe has been broken into twice in the past year so I was looking for a cheap head unit that still had the features that I was wanting. The unit was a breeze to install, the navigation works great (doesn't look the best though), I love the usb cable running from the back, and the apps such as Pandora work great.

pros- nav works well, hands free works well, perfect fit for my 2004 tacoma and looks factory. excellent sound quality and perfect match for my jl xd 600 and jl tacoma stelthbox..
cons. you better be a rocket scientist to update nav. maps, i tried and failed , screwed up the deck. sent it back to sonic and they sent me a new one know questions asked. so i will take it to a pro next time. thanks

Excellent value!
Sounds great. Easy to use due to a well written User Manual (on disc).
GPS and Reverse Camera, as well as Bluetooth features added bonus and extremely useful and convenient.

Needs update!!
First off, bluetooth streaming will not work with my Galaxys S3. Very frustrating. Also, I have i06 on my iPhone and that won't work through bluetooth streaming or through ipod cable. It acts like it's not even there. ios6 is sue out officially soon, so they need to update quickly!
Biggest thing is, it will not play all my music on random off sd card!!! You have to pick an album to listen to, it will not play all! That is really upsetting. I like to have all 32gb of music on random so I can just set it and forget it.
Also, the unit freezes on occasion and you have to turn the car off or keep a paperclip handy to reset it.
They really need to get an update so I can actually listen to music the way I want to listen.
I have done all the updates available, but so far I have 2 phones that don't work and an sd card that I can only play one album at a time.

Just Awesome!
I had seen some great reviews on you tube, so I knew this was the one I wanted. After doing a search for the best price, I found it here. I've owned for about six months now and it's great! It's everything I thought it would be. Just an awesome product, and great price.

Great Head unit
I’ve been using this product now for almost a year. I had a couple of issues with the head unit
But mainly just wiring issues. The navigation works great, never had a problem getting to anywhere I
Wanted. As for the radio , dvd, IPod and the S d card that works really good. I would recommend this product greatly, works really fine.
As for the staff that work at power acoustics, I have but good things to say about them.

Great Unit
Installed this unit yesterday, still learning about all the features. What I can see so far this is a great unit. Navigation system is great. The ipod feature shows the album artwork if you have it on your ipod which is great. I have it in a 2007 Chevy Avalanche and it's a good fit, looks good in the dash. Great buy!!

Very nice Deck, no issues
GPS is very good, comparable with Tom toms, but more features!
Maps are a bit out of date, nothing serious and I am sure an update is available. The speeding reminders, fuel mileage and turn by turn directions are very nice.
don't use CDs, but DVD works great, had to install a ground switch to bypass parking safety.
USB works great listings are very nice and took my 32gb flash with no issue. Would not power a 2tb portable drive.
Best have lots of room for install (I did) as there are a ton of connections and wires.
Blue tooth works great, paired with no problems to my Note 2
GUI and general navigation through device is very nice and easy to find what you need, I do find if you try and do things when you first start the car (and deck) its a bit slow to respond, but if you give it a minute to finish loading the GPS signal its responds just fine (GPS is always on, cannot turn off).
Be very careful and weary of OS updates, lots have had issues doing this and some versions are just crap, luckily Sonic sent it with a good version and I have had no issues
Overall Great deck and Great price, anywhere local wants from $799-$999 for the same one.
The only lacking piece is security, no removable parts.

Clarion NX602
This was the worst buy ever. I bought strictly on price. My first worry was after I had it installed the installer came out and told me that I would not be happy with the product he said that it was too hard to operate. I just figured he was trying to make a sale. Here are the main issues with the unit:
Bluetooth - everyone that I talk to says that they can not hear me. Make sure your phone is on the compatible list. If you have a newer phone you will be out of luck unless you have an iPhone.
GPS - works well but when typing in the address it automatically tries to guess the address. It will grey the letters out that it thinks you do not need and it is sometimes wrong.
Start up - when starting up after it has been off for a while the unit malfunctions and you have to manually shut it off and turn it back on. After the second time it has always worked fine but you have to do this at almost every startup.
Updates - very frustrating with very little instructions on how to update. Once you figure it out it works smooth but don't expect it to be easy.
The installer told me I should have went with a Kenwood or a pioneer. Trust me spend the extra money and do just that.
