Not so good.

I get a lot of complaints from people I call or call me saying they cannot hear me so good with this mic. Not worth buying in my opinion.

Fabulous addition to my Clarion head unit!

Needed a mic for my head unit as I travel for work and my phone rings a lot. It's nice to be able to listen to music and not miss a call. This mic is far superior to the jvc unit my wife has in her van. The quality and response as you talk/listen is just about perfect. No one has ever complained about any echo effect, or asks me to repeat myself. The plug fit very tight in my Clarion unit so don't forget to push it in really firmly otherwise it wont work!

Great value!

For a discontinued/floor model could not beat for the price. I'm very happy.

Much better than stock Dual mic

I bought this mic to replace the stock mic that came with the Dual DVD receiver I put in my wife's car. It greatly improved the voice quality. I would highly recommend.

Great unit

I purchased the Clarion RCB199 for my 2005 Mustang, it is a great unit and very east to use. The GPS boots up almost instantly. Sonic provided me with the install kit and wiring, and it works and sounds great with the factory Ford Shaker Amps. It looks great, and very easy to use. The built in hands free mic does not work so great, However a simple install of a Clarion external mic took care of that. People tell me they cant even tell Im using a hands free system. If you want a good unit and not spend a fortune I recommend the Clarion RCB199
