Just one problem...

I just installed these to replace the factory spkrs in the back of my Grand Caravan to go with the Kenwood Deck I just installed. The sound is amazing. The highs are so crisp and clear that I turned down my treble to zero and it still soars. The midrange is full and the voices almost sound live and the bass is all I could hope for without a sub. At this price point I don't think you will find better.
The only problem is that I don't want to get out of the back seat of my van and I'm afraid I will drain my battery.

Loud and clear

Bought these speakers and install them in a 2006 Nissan Altima because I wanted a little more clarity to the system. Pretty impressed with the sound even though they're hooked to the factory radio about to install a more updated stereo in there so I can listen to iheart radio and pandora plus flash drives.

A very good sounding speaker

I just installed these Clarions in my wifes 05 Elantra back deck. For a cheap speaker they sound real good. No amp. just a Kenwood Excelon
HU. Good crisp highs and smooth mids. Bass is decent. If you'er going hard pounders spend the doe on higher quality speakers and an Amp.

This speakers sound amazing without an amp,just get HU with at 22 rms(there are planty out there) and you will be amaized!
Booming bass,great mids and crispy hights!

great speakers

The speakers sound fantastic in the back doors of my 2013 dodge dart with the stock radio. While this site indicates the speakers fit this car, they do not without some grinding of the surround on the door so perhaps 'fit the car with minor modifications' would be more accurate. Regardless modifications took maybe 8-10 minutes extra per speaker so not bad.

Went to put these in the front doors of a 04 Dodge Ram 1500. They didn't fit which was my fault for not checking. The basket of the speaker is to wide they didn't go all the way into the factory hole. I had to make spacers out of some 1/2 wood to fill the gap. Once installed sound wasn't to bad not worth the extra work. Probably better for a cars rear deck install if mount from underneath.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking at a pair of Pioneers, then Sonic showed a recommendation and comparison of the Pioneers and these Clarions. The price was better and the low end frequency was better, mind you, I have never owned any Clarion products in my life, usually Kenwood Excelon or Pioneer Premier. These are by far the best speakers I have ever owned!! All my systems had a sub powered by an amp, but with these I'm considering just powering them with an amp, I really don't think I need a sub. I love that obnoxious bass that you can here a half a mile away, and these speakers do that, just amazing, Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Sounds Great

These had the best frequency response I found in a 6x9 speaker, good power handling, and a 3-way design for under $50. I was sold on paper, and now that I have installed them and can hear the difference over the stock speakers, I would buy them again, and again. I have only had them installed for a month, so I can't say much as to the durability, but I installed baffles with them to limit their exposure to the elements, and I expect them to last the lifetime of the car.

Great Speakers for the Money

I purchased these speakers to go in my 13 Dart. The front door speaker location has a shallow mounting depth of 2.5 inches and theses speakers had a depth of 2.6. This was the primary reason for my purchase. But once I installed them the sound quality blew me away! These speakers added great clarity and definition to my music. I could now hear highs and mids much clearer. With the factory speakers not so much. Added benefit I could now feel some bass! Mind you these speakers are being powered with the factory head unit--no amp!
Overall very impressed, If you are on a tight budget or have mounting depth issues these are the way to go!

Quality sound

Worth the price, good quality sound, fits car model almost perfectly.

Mids and highs are excellent

Great 6x9 with beautiful sound. Accurate and crisp without sounding overly tinny. Can't comment on the bass output as not a concern in my application.

Clear sound over large range

These speakers are quite clear in highs mids and lows. They are strongest in highs, very crisp but not quite as crisp as titanium tweeters. I really appreciate the highs matched with silk dome tweeters up front. Compared to stock you can certainly hear lower frequencies but they are NOT loud in the lower range like they are in the higher range. You will still want to add a subwoofer.

I would buy these again and again at this price.

I have a 1993 Ford Ranger X-Cab with 6X8 door and rear speakers stock. I modified the rear mounting to fit these 6X9's and was able to keep my factory stock speaker grills. Man what a difference these make. They sound great and have more bass than the smaller speakers could ever put out. I am a happy camper.

I had a pair of JVC speakers before these that had given me trouble with the tweeters giving off a very annoying vibration sound after I had them for 10 months. I took a chance on these Clarion speakers as they were a bit more expensive but I'm glad I did. They sound excellent and I'm very happy with them.

Great Sound at a Great Price

These Speakers really sounded great on my aftermarket headunit but they sounded even better with amp. I'm currently running them on 65watts a piece and they sound awesome

Brilliant Rear Speakers

Put out good bass, while still maintaining high sound quality. They're an absolute bargain and can handle some pretty high wattage. I wouldn't go past them for good-looking and sounding speakers on a small budget.
