Great Speakers

These speakers sound great. handle base very well. I have a 1000 W amp on these and they handle it very well. I am very pleased with the performance. And the mids and highs are very clear even when bass is high. I would recommend these to anyone who has a high power system and want great clear sound with power handling capability.

I bought these speakers a month ago and I am very happy with my purchase. I'm using a zapco 150 at amp and they handle the power well.

WOW! That's the best way to describe these speakers! I'm a guy who is always upgrading speakers and amps, so I was anxious to try these because of their high frequency response. I was in AWE when I powered up my head unit after replacing my horrible-sounding Audiobahn 6x9's. These Clarions sound like I added a bunch of tweeters and midranges all over my car! And the bass is so heavy, my trunk vibrates! I never imagined I would need Dynamat with 6x9's until I put these in! OMG, these speakers are so crystal clear and get such awesome highs, I had to turn down all the settings on my Clarion EQS746 equalizer! Oh, by the way, I'm running these off a Boston Acoustics 480 watt 4-channel amp in full range to the rear channels. BUY A PAIR OF THESE, you WILL be happy!

Good all around speakers, great price

I've hooked these up as replacements in an 05 Honda Accord. I'm using a JVC head ( 4x20 watts rms) They sound waaayyy better than the audiobahn 6x9s that were there before. The bass is deeper and stronger, and the mid-highs are a little bit more crisp... Over all, they're very nice speakers for not a lot of money. As always, thank you sonic! [not a fake ad either, just sayin'... but then again, that's what they'd want you to think... *gasp!*]

Fairly good speakers for the price. stereo doesn't push the speakers enough to know how much bass the speakers can stand. DO NOT BUY FOR 2010 Camaro l99, the wiring is incorrect. (must have custom speaker harnesses)

These speakers have a great response over the entire sound curve. Bass, mids and hi's.

Simply great sound for price. 5 way design and strong strontium main woofer magnet build base for great response, high sensitivity and ultra wide frequency range. Speaker make a great job in my wife`s Jeep Compass 2015 front doors. Speaker required more than 80% amplifier damping factor. Pioneer AVIC -F8100BT bring all necessary power to make sound exceptional. All that setup make a better sound picture than my Supra`s 93 JBL premium sound..

Clarion SRG6953R No bass good high's 5-Way 6x9 Review

So the Clarion 5 way is a very affordable speaker , with a decent quality. These speakers are great with the high's and not so great with the low's. The people who have claimed that these 5-way speakers have good bass are a little crazy to say the least. If what you want is loud clear high's then go with this 5-way , if you want bass or even a good all around sounding speaker this will not fit your needs. The bass is terrible on these 6x9's however i installed these in the rear with 3 12's and the highs they produce fit nicely with my subs. However like i said , if you run these by themselves with no subs to provide bass, you will be very unhappy with the results. It seems like 4 tweeters is just too much and smothers out any bass this speaker could produce. which isnt much.

Budget 6x9s with a much higher sounding appeal.

I got a few sets of these. I was blown awsy at the way they sounded for the price. Good hitting bass, loud and clear mids and highs. Had them for some years and they begun to have problems like they would play fine for a lil bit and then suddenly the pitch would chnage from a clear sound to a high pitched screach full of static. I was more saddened they did this then upset after all the yrs of use. No other complaints really as they were a good priced speaker for what you got. Wished they still had more. ???? would buy again

Clarion doing what they do!!

I received my 6x9 speakers fairly quickly. once I installed them I replaced my 4x6 also and what a difference night and day mind you I have 1981 Caprice so every speaker in the car was fairly old but these speakers woke my car up they sound great and I can't wait to hook up my Clarion amp and equalizer thank you SonicElectronix

Sound explosion

These clarion 5 produce everything you imagine sound from your head unit to be like and they can take quite a bit of power without being distorted. Amazing sound.

Clarion six by nines great purchase

The six by nines look sharp sound very good they said they would fit Factory location but I had to do a little trimming but not too much they sound good and handle the power output to the I have a set of 4 and my Dodge 2500 with 3 JL Audio 10 W 7th and you can still hear the highs over the base they sound excellent thanks for the good product

Clarion SRG6953R

This speaker was supposed to fit my Corvette, to replace the factory dash speaker but it did not I did have to do some grinding on the very outside of the frame and I had to trim the inside of the corvette dash. Speaker has great sound , after a lot of work to get it to fit.
