I can now HEAR my dash speakers! WOW!

Just put a pair of these babies in the dash of my 98 Dodge Stratus and all I can say is WOW! It's almost like I never had dash speakers! Now all of a sudden I can actually hear the dash speakers, and they sound awesome. However, I do notice that there is one certain frequency that the SRG920C's don't like. I can't pinpoint that frequency, but it's in the midrange area. These speakers sort of pop when that frequency hits. But they get crystal clear highs! I won't worry once I'm done with my system because I'm going to adjust my head unit's High Pass Filter so that these only get the highs. They are NOT a direct replacement for any Dodge Stratus, so don't be fooled, but they do fit and screw in fine. You just have to bend one tab a bit. And the extra silver part that says Clarion on it (a waste of material) doesn't line up the same or exactly opposite on each side, so they look a little odd. One points to sort of a 8:00 position on one side, the other side points to a 3:00 position. And since they are shiny, you notice it. All in all, these are nice speakers to run off your deck. Extremely nice high frequencies, but don't try to put any bass into them. As long as you remember that they are NOT mini dash subwoofers and only really meant to get highs you'll love them! I sure do! (If you want Kenwoods like I did, stop looking because they only make dual-cones, no 2-way dash speakers.)

Exceptional speakers at an awesome price!

In my "ALL KENWOOD" system, I was forced to chose a different brand for my dash speakers since Kenwood makes no 2-way 3-1/2's so I went with these Clarions. VERY wise choice! I have always been a fan of Clarion products and their quality. The SRG-920C speakers were no exception. They fit perfectly and sounded great! I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair and highly recommend them. I just wish they handled a bit more power, but you can't expect much for the size. Love them!
