Sounds good, has plenty of power to to sound great in a crew cab truck.

Impresive

Finally got these Clarion subs hooked up.
They are installed in a MTX Thunderform in a '02 Dakota R/T CC.
Powered them with a Kenwood Mono Block amp KAC-8101D.
I lined the inside of the Thunderform with Dyna Mat.
Very Impressed with the smooth sound from these units.
I was not looking for the big "boom boom" sound that you a lot of now a days, just nice smooth bass to balance out the listening experience.
I would recommend these subs to anyone.

Great speakers at a great price!

this is a great sub it hits hard for a shallow mount with a great value i have it bridged on my amp and i love it getting another soon

Damn good bass for the size and price.

I've always been skeptical on the shallow subs, assuming they were inferior to the full sized/deep subs... but once I installed this sub into the shallow box also purchased here, I was throughly shocked and impressed.
It's powered by a Memphis 400 at 4ohms.
My goal was for it and the amp to be hidden in my spare tire location, under the trunk floor, invisible through the window of my hatchback.
It hits very hard notes and surprised the hell out of me, even sounding better than my ported 12" Rockford P2 it replaced!
I'd definitely suggest it to anyone looking for a budget, name brand, shallow/incognito setup.

Would've given all 5stars if it came in a 2ohm option.
