Best Directed Electronics HD Remote
I have a Viper 5902 installed in my car, and was never very happy with the shape or feel of the remote that came with it (P/N 7941V). I had purchased a Python 7941P remote to replace it as it had a better shape, but the construction of it wasn't that great. I finally got tired of it, and purchased the Clifford 7941X to replace the Python, and it's by far the best of the three. It has the best construction, best button feel, and best shape.
I should note that the 7941V, 7941P, and 7941X all have basically the exact same guts with very slightly different firmware, and all work with my Viper 5902 system. The only real difference is the remote housing and build quality.

Only option for matrix 590
The remote was as described and is the correct replacement for the original that my kids broke. Very easy to program but too expensive. It does the job.
