Failed unit, no warranty support

About 11 months after I purchased and installed this alarm my car was starting intermittently. It took a few weeks before I could take my dash apart and track down the problem to a relay in the alarm box that controls the starter. Unfortunately I was out of the warranty period.

Alarm

The key fob came off the key chain piece very quickly. Also the back that holds the battery on broke so that it will not stay on now. I have had it about three months and the batteries are dead in the key fobs already (I think because the fob doesn't always beep back when it shows the green light showing armed). Settings seem more confusing than they should be. Sometimes the alarm goes off when a loud truck drives by. The alarm has also stopped giving warning honks (might be user). I like that it scares off the thieves but wish it was more user friendly and that the key fobs were more durable.
