I highly recommend this product, my radio is easier to hear with the mike closer. the talk button is easier with cold hands. overall a lot easier to use radio.

I use a cobra HH 425 in heavy duty mooring service.
The product is ok,butthePTT button on the speaker/mic. is too easy going.As soon as it touches somewhere on the waterproof clothes or lif jacket,it stops the scanning procedure,which is necessary for me,because in the container port are 5 channels at the same time to be used.
