seens to work ok

seems to detect ok and not too many false alarms. Detected patrolman following me from about a mile behind and he was turning his radar on a off trying to nail folks on the opposite lanes.

For $40, well worth it to know when the bears are watching you.

I've owned Cobra detectors in the past and never had any problems with them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right. The only issue I might have with this model is in sunlight the visibility of the lights is lacking.

Great buy for the price!

I've had this detector for about a month.
If you like to listen to loud music in the car you can still here it go off.
Radar range is short but overall it's a great buy for the price.

I ordered this radar and I'm very happy with this product I use it every time I get on my truck and it works great I recommend this product .

radar revamp

The radar detector only works to detect lazer or other bands when they (the cops) are using them, in another words they have to be pulling the trigger and by that time its too late thanks for nothing I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Great for detecting many things, except radar guns, but I believe it's my fault.

This unit detects the same signals in the exact same places with the same strength, but it fails to detect radar guns, so I know the sensors work.

I thing the cops are using bands that are invisible to this unit...

I would not recommend this product due to the low volume and the small visual display...if you think you can hear this device with the radio on...forget it...

Still Evaluating

I can't say yes or no yet. It didn't arrive ready to use. The User's Manual is well written & helpful which enabled setting the unit up the way I preferred. I' ve noticed that when I approach radar units placed by the highway, the detector gives no lights or sounds. Similar detectors do provide warnings when these types of radar units are approached.

Good Bang For Th Buck!

For the price it works great. I have had a few false alarms but that keeps you on your toes. I wish it had voice alerts but more bells and whistles cost more.

I like the cobra radar detector...Only thing is that it sometimes detect when there's nothing there to detect...But when a cop is around it usually comes thru...

Cobra Radar Detector

This is a great radar detector. I am not even joking, it saved me from getting two tickets today alone on the way to school. It does pick up doors and such while driving in the city and can become aggravating. But if this thing saves you from one ticket, it will have paid for itself. I highly recommend and am satisfied.

Ok i guess??

This was OK when I first got it. sometimes it would randomly go off because of interference but every time there was a cop there it picked it up way before i saw the cop. Now 6 months later it is randomly going off like every 5 min for no reason i would not recommend this product to ANYONE!

ya its crappy. it just lets u know that you're in the process of getting a ticket. you're probably looking at this detector because it's the cheapest thing out there. that's why i bought it and should have saved the money.

Creio eu, que se fosse um detector de radar com mais bandas iria funcionar melhor.

The product is easy to install. Easy to read but there are times it doesn't pickup and but there are more time it does. I picks up security systems, construction, emergencies etc...I would recommend this product. Not only did i purchase one, I purchase two and use them daily.

It works pretty good, i haven't had any problems with it. Most of the time when there's a cop it goes off its pretty good for the price.

You get what you pay for

This detector works well on the interstate but when it comes to city driving it gives off alot of false alarms, even when in city mode. For the price it gets the job done its just not the best.

It overall is nice it is loud enough to where you can hear it over your music. It is somewhat accurate, but sometimes misses police cars. I have had it for 2 months and it is yet to pick up an unmarked car. Overall I am happy with this product but I would get a better one.

I love it! it's simple to use, i keep mine on highway setting and it's never given me a false alarm. If it goes off, I slow down! Love it so much I bought my son the exact same one for his car.
