This is a great amp power kit! I've bought three of them for different cars that I have owned. The cables are excellent quality and easy to route.

Nice install kit!

This is a quality kit with true 8 AWG wire. Has a high strand count and very flexible. The only con i have with the kit is they give you a ring terminal and spade for the ground wire but only a single ring terminal for the power wire but no spade to connect to your amp. I don't understand that but it's not a big deal. I would buy this again.

Great kit for the money

This was the least expensive kit I could find to install my sub. It worked fine and had all the bits and pieces needed. Didn't really want blue wire but I wire-loomed everything anyway so it doesn't show up. Recommended!

Bang for the buck!

This is by no means Kicker quality... But it is also by no means Kicker price. You get what you pay for. For a CHEAP entry level system, this is sufficient. Wouldn't push it all that hard though.

Awesome install kit

I'm running four 8" subs off of two 175watt RMS amps, and the cables don't even get hot, even at very high levels.

1.5 years after install, they are holding up just fine.

Comes with good quality gold plated connectors that don't fall off.

If you are resourceful, this has enough cables do do an install on two cars.

Very good quality cable with high quality insulation. The hardware that came with it was of high quality too... better than most generic electronic connections.

I wish the power cable was a bit longer, though... ended up using it and the ground cable just for the positive line. Finding more wire isn't hard, but it was an inconvenience.

The ground and power wires are coated with thin plastic instead of the red or blue braided heavier coating. If you get a tiny slit or cut in them you will lose the amp for awhile and have to get another $30 install kit so be careful with those two wires.

Overall this kit was very nice and of good quality. It does include connectors, grommets, 1 single spade connector, 1 butt connector etc. However those little accessories are very low quality and I would suggest buying your own from the local hardware store.

However, the wires and fuse themselves were very good quality and I would buy again.

Thinner than I thought it would be

Just ordered the exact same product in 8 gauge from a different site. when it arrive I compared it to othe pieces of 8 gauge wire I had and appeared to be about half as much metal/wire as the other pieces I had. Im not sure if this is low quality or not I havnt hooked it up to any amp yet but it just seems more like 10 gauge wire than 8 gauge wire

Best Amp Kit Around

Great amp kit, this will be the third car i've bought this for including a hybrid and i've seen it go through two iterations and them changing the fuse holder so you know they're listening to complaints. My only complaint still is you have to buy a second RCA when you buy it. Never had any of the cables be cut by anything on accident or anything i did have an old alpine amp that would cause one of the braids to fray but that was the amps fault. Yeah its not your beefy zero gauge stuff but not everyone wants or most of all can afford that. Overall great cables, great discreet fuse holder, includes all you need at a great price.

Get what you pay for

This kit gets the job done, but don't expect anything beyond that. Not that I'm complaining, it was the cheapest kit I could find on this site. If you are running 500 watts or less this is the kit for you. If you got a couple mofo's you should get a better kit.

Decent amp kit for the money. True 8ga copper, very flexible making it easy to route. I enjoy the type of fuse holder they give with the kit. The crimps are nice. The rcas are on par. The better option

The power and ground wires in this kit might be slightly less than 8 gauge. But still close enough that they will work fine for most amps that work wire 8 gauge input. Cables are long enough to reach the back of just about any car. And a kit is much more convenient and cheaper than having to buy all the pieces separately.

Best Amp for around 100 dollars

This amp pushes 2 kicker 12s with ease. Very stable at 2 ohms as well. CEA 2006 certified amp so you know its pushing clean power... couldn't ask for any more, jensen makes quality products that can take a beating.

Suprisingly good amp!!!

I received this amp on 2/20/09 and i use it to power my MTX 4500 12" in a sledgehammer box and IT POUNDS! It even came with a birth certificate telling you the exact specs of the amp. Works great, kinda big for a 1000 watt amp but it certainly exceeded my expectations. Great price too for a name brand amplifier.

Does what it's supposed to. Voltage doesn't drop nearly as bad, headlights NEVER dim, and amp feels more powerful. Great buy, def recommend.

Great Product

I bought this product 6 months ago replacing my old capacitor.
This one I am really satisfied with. It does everything what I need it to do and is plenty big for my MTX TE-601D amplifier now running 2 of the Kicker L3 10 inch subwoofers in a sealed enclosure. I would definately recommend this product and always use Sonicelectronix as you provider.

Great buy for the price

I bought this amp to power my 10" Kicker CVR and it does an awesome job. When I got it, the birth sheet said the amp was rated at 525w RMS (almost 100 free watts) which is a little overpowered for the sub, but the Kicker handles it without any problems. Also you can turn the bass up or down without adjusting anything on your head unit thanks to the individual bass control that comes with it. The only Con I can find it is runs pretty hot sometimes, but it still has never shut down on me so far. I haven't seen any other amp in this price range that compares to this one, its a must buy for anyone who wants something cheap and powerful.

Free shipping was great and the amp looks great its CEA compliant so you know it can run what it says on the box it actually lists 350 watts RMS at 4 ohm but then states the CEA 290 watts RMS. Overall great Powerful amp I'm afraid I'll blow my 250 RMS Pioneers now might have to upgrade. Great deal. Only gave 4 stars on durability because I haven't owned the amp very long so I can't actually say how durable it is but held up great so far.

Great Cap!

Ordered the Absolute CAP200 about two years ago for my 08 Camry and it's still running strong. It does the job. I have it hooked up with a Hifonics Brutus 1200D Amp with 2 12 inch Brutus Square Subs. it bumps. I highly recommend this item and Sonic Electronix I highly recommend too.

best "CHEAP" amp

It powers my Boston Acoustic 10 ease and the sound quality is great. I was suprised by how loud and incredibly clear the bass was even though the amp only cost $80. It over heated once but it was playing continuously for 3 hours. Also it's very big for how much power it puts out but for the price who cares about that. If you want a great amp but don't want to spend alot of money then this is the best one on the market.

Absolute review

Wanted to make sure I wasn't going to burn up a alternator ($150+) so I invested in one of these. This was the cheapest that had a cap over the wires ( why anyone would leave open wires is beyond me) and 'bonus' 4x the rating of what I needed and 'bonus' volt readout and flashy lights. Thanks once again to Sonic Electronix for excellent product at excellent price.

GREAT PRODUCT, A MUST HAVE

This is the first capacitor I ever bought. I have had sound systems before, but never with a cap. I originally bought this because of the price. It was the least expensive one. As far as quality, I have no complaints.
I have this hooked up to an MB Quart 1500w RMS mono amp and it sounds great, looks cool and makes my bass hit harder. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good, cheap capacitor.

I got this cap about 6 months ago. Never again will I get a cap of any size. They are good for giving the amp the extra power. It needs to hit big bass notes, but it will not keep your headlights from dimming. If you want to keep your headlights from dimming, then get a 2nd battery. You will have much more power. The cap blew one day because it couldn't handle the power it was given between the 2 batteries. If you are a beginner in car audio, don't get a cap. Get a battery; it will last longer and do a lot more then a cap.

I wasn't sure if i had needed one, but with the lights dimming i started searching and found this, for the price it is, and the quality sounds good, this being my first cap, it seems like its gonna do the job!! I would recommend this.

I was super excited to recieve it and see it in action. I installed it on my speaker box. About a week later I found a piece of the blue part with the LED's laying on the floor of my trunk! What a cheap piece of crap!! I was unable to repair it and ended throwing it in the trash!! I don't recommend wasting your money!!!

This cap did the trick my subs sound great no more dead batteries and no more dimming lights, I'm running a 2000 watt RMS amp and it was draining my batterie bad and this little guy fixed it all and it looks good, lights up at night and has a volt meter on it great buy for the cheap price.

Great Capacitor! Cheap, but my lights don't dim and i have 2400 watts RMS hooked up to a RF Power HX2 . . . . Really LOUD! Would definitely buy again if i ever needed another cap, but do not see a reason with this one. Great product.

Amazing!

I bought two of these for my two subs and they hold pretty well. I love the design and everything, but the only complaint I have is the connectors are coming loose pretty often. Probably because of all the bass.

Very Cheap Quality.

Bought box a few weeks ago and ended up selling on craiglist shortly after. Cheaply built, cheap terminal cup, carpet on corners was pulling away coming right out the box new. You knock on the sides and you can hear how cheap it is. I went back and forth between a solid 3/4 mdf box i made and you could really notice the difference. The sound liner on the inside is paper thin, not doing much of anything id imagine. Would only buy this if your just looking for something that looks OK to fill in. If you want a NICE box look elsewhere.

Slams So low So Hard

Picked up this box along with a Kicker CVR12, the quality is way better than all other boxes i have had in the past, It also looks super custom in my ride. My only complaint is that since its made so well its really heavy other than that, I have absolutely no complaints.
