I would recommend the Crimestopper SV-5200.IR because it was easy to install and it is a big improvement over my former camera because it illuminates the area at night so I can see clearly. Also the coverage at the back of my big Suburban is fully captured so I can back the truck up.

Great value

I had a previous after market camera already installed in my car and hooked up to my Pioneer Z110. When the camera broke this was a low cost replacement I was able to install myself within 30 minutes. It works very well for over 6 months now and is better than what I had before.
The built in distance guide is dependent on the angle the camera is pointed at and not very accurate, but still helpful as reference once you learn what the actual distance is.

Desperate Measures.

I thought it would be great to have a back-up camera like a lot of the newer model production cars have, so I purchased the Crimestopper SV-5200.IR. Mounting it was not easy as one has to drill a hole thru the number plate and the trunk of your car that is about 1 inch in diameter to pass the cable thru. Then comes the harder part of running the cable to your Deck at the front of the car. Once done, it works as described, but the colors are totally washed out or muted. Basically it is a Black and White camera with a hint of unidefined colors. During the day, the image is totally overexposed. Night vision is very good. The angle of view is about 120 degrees max.

this product is a good product only problem I had was installing this product on my license plate it blocked the light to the license plate
