You get what you pay for

Bought amp thinking this would be the amp that could power all my highs. It did the job, but RMS is not listed for amp; just max power. It worked for a while 'til I could afford a better amp.

good amp

This is not my first crunch amp. I purchased my first one in 1999 and it is still working dispite the work out my four 15" gives it. The 1200 is a well rounded amp mid and hi's are very clear.

Harley install

This amp has been my go to amp for my bike for the last couple of years. Crunch puts out some great amps for the price and they are an every day usable power source. I'm running to Kenwood 6x9s in the rear , and two Polk audio separates 6.5 s up front and this hits cleaner than most cars coming by . It puts out some really clean sound that I get compliments on every where I go " Is that coming out of your bike?" Duh!

great amp

Very nice amp, never over heats or overloads, clear sound, easy hook up. I have two crunch amps, one in my truck and one in my car. Would buy again.

1000 watts?..more like 300

The following review is for a previous version (GPV1000.4).

amp is good for the average Joe but for someone who wants to run 4 6x9's on it would have limited volume potential..can't go deaf with this one but for the $ it's worth it.

7 on a 10

The following review is for a previous version (GPV1000.4).

I hooked this up yesterday in my 96 Explorer. Got 2 sets of 6x8s an it is so clear an crisp, not to much distortion. it peaks out at 180 max and 90 RMS. Still good and worth every penny.

this is in my Harley Davidson

The following review is for a previous version (GPV1000.4).

Used this amp in the left hard saddle bag to push two 6x9s and 61/2 separates & I have cars turning down their stereos trying to figure out where the sound and the BASS is coming from. Highly recommended if your willing to lose a bag. I'd imagine It does pretty well in cars too.

Mid Bass only amp

The following review is for a previous version (GPV1000.4).

If you want cheep dependable power... This is the amp....For subs only !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. This thing stops at a rediculess point. No upper frequincy response at all.. Would be ok for small subs or for mid bass only. Mot a music amp for the descriminating taste. Use it with confidance for what it is made to do. 1.2 khz is a very long way from 20,000 hk. But it's better than half way.....lol
