I installed these in to my 1997 Camry, within the first 5 minutes I heard a distortion coming from one of the speakers, pulled them out, found that the mid & tweeter housing came unglued. I repaired it and re-installed. I am running a Sony head set, 17 watts RMS x4. The speakers are rated at 80RMS. I wasn't impressed at all with them being pushed by the headset alone. I installed a Kenwood 75watt RMS 2 channel amp. These speakers have great highs, TERRIBLE bass, even when pushed by an AMP.They are just an OK speaker, if you want bass go with a lower feq. response than these.
