the power is crazy

i've owned this amp for over six months now and wow! it's crazy! i have it pushing 2 dual coil audio pipes 12" 1200 watts each and it hits really really hard, i tried to figure out why it is soo cheap and the only thing that i came up with is the fact that it is an AB amp. i must admit that it draws heavy current when it's running at 1 ohm! but at 2 ohms its fine! I'm guessing that this amp is a present to crunch and sonic's customers cuz there is no way that this amp is worth so little ($160)

excellent budget monoblock

I have had this since mid April and I have the volume cranked all of the time and it doesnt seem to get bothered. The amp does run a little on the warm side and will get pretty hot when run at full volume for over 30mins. I'm running it at 1 ohm, which is what it really seems to like and be designed for. I just changed the mounting location to the seatback and I fold it down into the cabin and it does run a little cooler. This delivers a very good bang for the buck from the power output and 1 ohm stability in relation to price.

Allright amp

I used this on 2 15's and it did pretty well. I dont think it has any sound quality whatsoever but it does put out a decent amount of power. Dont expect to get 1500 out of it unless you system is over 14 volts. It seems like sonic has lowered its prices on all their crunch amps. I wouldn't buy it again. Overheated many, many times at 1 ohm. Hate the cheap knobs too.

Hard Hitting and Disturbing The Peace

I would just like to start off by saying "WOW" This Amp hits hard. I have it hooked up to "4" Cerwin Vega V-Max 102 subs and have gotten so many complaints for noise disturbance. It has my rear windshield flexin and my subs bumping with SPL. This amp will be a great addition to any system, from sound quality to Serious BASS. I bought it a month ago and it still won't quit on my four tens. They are rated at 500 RMS 1000 Max each. I don't have a need to buy another but I will anyways to see what my S10 can really do. You just have to have a professional wirring kit or this thing will melt the average. Even with my 4.5 Farad capacitor my lights dim so you should get a bigger one to run at full potential I have been known to set off car alarms and my Extended Cab windows are starting to fall off. I have also been pulled over for Noise complaints and reported many times.

lots of bang for the buck!

This is an amp that puts out plenty good power for the price! I got two 12 inch type r subs with 1 each of these bad boys on each sub at 1ohm and I must say this setup slams!!! Of course I used all 1/0 ga power cable and 8 ga sub wire! I had a total of 3 of these with one being in my wife's car now and she loves it! Great amp!

The best bang for your buck period

This is with out a doubt the best bang for your buck online. Find me a monoblock amp for under $200 that will produce this amount of power and u will find its impossible!!!!!!!!

Earth shaking

Great amp! This amp draws a lot of amperage so make sure the cables are connected very securely to the amp. After 6 months the connection for the positive cable became loose because we didn't tighten down the bolt that squeezes the cable. This caused a hot spot at that connection and the connector started to melt. This was not the amps fault. Check the cable connections every once in a while to make sure they are on really tight. You need a good connection to be able to carry 50 amps or more. A 1.0 ohm drop will make a 50 watt hot spot.

Not bad at all.

Had this amp for a few months and really kicked down the place. Didnt give me the real low bass lines but the kick and higher frequencies were excellent. Clipped out a few times but worked well after that until i replaced it with the boss... ALPINE.

crunch p1500.1

I have this amp hooked up to a Power Acoustik P2-12 and it beats pretty hard. The amp gets fairly warm at just under half gain. No distortion. It is very close to its power rating carrying 120amps of fuse protection. Good amp for the money.

excellent monoblock for budget systems

I have this on 2 Infinity 1262w's and it rattles my car so hard! I don't have any bass boost on as it seems to clip pretty bad after ~10 o'clock. Anyone who says anything bad about this amp doesn't know jack about car audio. The guy who said it doesn't put out good lows just has crappy subs.
