DB LInk HLC1 Review
I actually purchased several of these for a non automotive audio application. They work fine as intended for speaker to line conversion and sound fine. I use them in other audio applications and they have good frequency response and just as good as any other more expensive product. Do not let the low cost fool you. An A-OK product!

Gets the job done
I liked the price and the size factor for this impedance matching transformer and it had the adjustability that I liked, but ended up not using because the amp has a better adjustment. Would have liked to see longer speaker wires (they really are just long enough to strip and solder to some real wires) and have + and - better labeled. They are darn hard to spot when standing on your head in a trunk.

Absolutely worthless!
I paid $7 for this thing and it took 7 days to get here. I hook it up to my amp, which I have tested and know for a fact that it works, and got nothing. All I get is the smell of a burning circuit board! I Turn off the power and check my amp, it's fine, I check the radio, it's fine, so i look and the little HLC and it's the cause of the smell. Completely a waste of time and money!
