The DLS SC1s add another dimension to your sound that most audio rookies never experienced. Mounted them on my dash reflecting off the windshield and it now sounds like there's a center channel in the car. Music sounds like its coming from somewhere else. The sound is very transparent, detailed and non-fatiguing. But a warning to rookies, these heavy, large format tweeters are not made for the typical surface mount(just under 3 3/4" across and 1 1/2" deep). Slight modifications and fabrications may be required for an on axis mount. Just don't take these tweeters to B**** B** to be installed. Overall: a great tweeter at a decent price. About 10 hours of mid level volume for break in and then they really come to life.
