It works, good bang for your buck.
I purchased this setup to replace my alpine type s 10 inch sub. It sounds good, but wish it hit harder. I'm running a 600 rms alpine amp to the 500 rms machete 10 inch sub with the levels at a respectable levels. The prefab box is probably tuned at roughly 40hz, so I just may get one made for better tuning. But all in all, I'm happy with it.
