great reciever for the $$
I have owned this unit for about 5 months now. I previously had an older Panasonic unit, that finally died on me. So far the Denon is better in every single way! The updated connections (HDMI) is nice, as I have my PS3 and tv hooked up through it. This unit is powerful enough (I have Klipschorns and other Klipsch speakers hooked to it) and has not skipped a beat yet. The display is pretty simple, but the overall appearance is classy, especially for the $$. The manual is a bit convoluted, but I think that is somewhat typical for a home receiver and Denon in general....
Good deal from Sonic Electronix too.....best price I found on this one.

Great product and value
Great sound with auto setup. If your want to have your own settings its a little more difficult. All in all its a great receiver for the price.

I currently have this receiver. denon is the best home theater receiver made. with my in wall boston acoustic speakers my system just sounds phenomenal. these receivers can be a pain to set up because they have control over everything. just use the audessy microphone included for easy setup. thinking, pioneer, sony, yamaha, or onkyo will match this? wrong. denon has by far the cleaner sound of all these brands murantz and denon are the same company! get it; if you have a blu -ray player and a good 5.1 speaker set up you have to have this receiver!!
