I have the 4 ohm DVC version of this speaker. It does have a very nice sound. I have a 600rms alpine amp pushing it which does cause this sub to bottom out when the gain is set too high, but the speaker doesn’t smoke or stink which tells me the internals are made of superior material. This is a quality speaker, it does pound in a double cab truck with only .55 cubic feet of air space in a sealed box. If you can give this sub it’s recommended air space which is like .84 and power it with a clean output amplifier it will pound and will not disappoint. You won’t find a better sound quality woofer for $99 on clearance
