Magnet switch

I bought this magnetic switch to set up a small led light in the trunk of my car. It took a little trouble shooting to find a place were it worked properly since my trunks designed with some annoying contours. The little screws make installing a terminal crimped wire very easy, but if its placed anywhere near metal I'd put a piece of electric tape over the screws so they don't risk causing a short by accident. I do worry about it getting water on it or exposed to extreme temperatures so I have it resting on a piece of plastic and have it safely hidden so it wont get directly rained on. Otherwise it seems like a good value since it hasn't given me any issues.

Great switch. Just what I needed

I put this on my tour pack of my Harley. Hooked LED lights to it to shine inside the tour pack and the saddlebags. Works flawlessly. I have put several on since then because all my buddies wives have seen it and loved it.

I used for my GMC box truck back door for alarm, works great, wasn't able to use mechanical switch

Versatile

The option of either N.O. or N.C. is a feature not often offered. This allowed me to install different security devices without limitation or changing switches. Highly versatile switch with high reliability.

Like a universal teplacement

This switch has screw terminals, for both the normal open and normal closed contacts, so good replacement no matter which you may need. Good build quality too.
