Great Buy for the price

I bought this the make my car look better on the inside plus give my kids something to watch while we are on the road. First two head units were bad but the customer service team got me squared away and replaced within two weeks. Sound quality is amazing, i was able to add a chromecast and play tv shows for my kids and i get great picture quality. Only con is that for my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix the screen extends a little below my shift knob but bright side is that if i get a new vehicle i can make sure that doesnt turn into an issue. Definitely recommend if you want a lot of options in your vehicle.

Mixed feelings about this product

I bought this stereo because of its dual mirror feature, to go on a classic truck. I previously had the 9.3" power acoustik great stereo woulda bought that instead of this dual. Very similar but right away the power acoustik looks like it's built better but dual has more features. This stereo was great when I got it, I don't remove the face much it always stays. Dual mirror was great I played music tru Bluetooth. About 4 months of having the stereo the screen got dimmed and the Bluetooth dual mirror and the sd card function aren't available no more. I reset the stereo on the face plate and on the stereo the screen is back to normal but the features I bought the stereo for don't work no more. Bluetooth connect on its own now if someone calls I can awnser but I cant use the Bluetooth page or get in it. I use a cd now it didn't read an MP3 I burned on my laptop. Might send it in to dual. Fuze was checked, its running normal it just seems like the programs were erased.

Hope the warranty is honored

For the price it looks impressive, has nice specs and sounded great once installed in my wife's MB 320. But after less than a month the screen began flashing, banding and pixelating. It appears that a couple of the electrical contact pins in the anti-theft mount have broken. Maybe it was just a bad unit. I will update the review after I go through the warranty process and hopefully get another one to try as I think I could love this unit if I can get one that lasts.

It's OK but it's big in a Mini Cooper

Radio look well.cant figure what files to play movies are video yet it's a big screen for my car but it wonderful play you tube videos most of time and mp3 files

Dual DV1014BH

I installed this in a 1989 Corvette. I worked out nicely. I was unsure it would fit but I couldn't be happier. I didn't realize it was motorized until I accidently hit the button that opens the screen. I thought I would have to manually take the screen off to access heater controls. I was surprised to watch the screen move outward about an inch then pivot to allow access to the cd/dvd slot. and.... give me complete access to heater controls. The installation went fine. I used the 99-4000 housing. I had to alter it by cutting the small ( useless) single cd storage compartment to allow for clearance. After I painted it to match it looked and worked out great. I am still learning all the functions but I am happy with it so far.

This a dope head unit it works very good with all phones and tablets . If you don't have one you need to get one.
