Resonance City

This unit is perfect for loud noisy music if that's what your ears are used to. Not recommended for smooth jazz, or clean sounding music. Very loud box for the money, but loud doesn't necessarily equate to quality sound. Way too much resonance which means you have to keep your bass and volume level inputs low or the sound becomes muddy very quickly. Bass notes will easily overlap each other. Used mine for about 3 months, replaced with a sealed unit.

Best bang for the buck in a subwoofer ever. Period

Bought this from a local Wal-Mart over the summer of 2009. Paid 80 dollars expecting nothing fantastic. Later that month I bought a Lightning Audio 950 watt amp, and installed it at my girlfriends. Popped a cd in, and about had a heartattack. There was so much bass and it was only on volume 4 on a factory head unit with a cheap run of the mill amplifier. This is the best bang for the buck subwoofer anyone could ever get. I've had mine for a good 6 months now and it's still sounding as good as the day I bought it. Always outshaking higher end models like Rockford Fosgate, JL, MTX and more. You wont be disappointed

its all the box

I got one from walmart for 25 bucks on sale thinking it was going to be crap and that was almost 2 years ago this little thing works great pounds hard and looks good i blew the sub after a while but any 10 that you put in this box if it fits it pounds. I would recommend to anyone on a budget. I would get this with the dual 400 watt amp.
