Great Radio Combo!!

What a value! Installation was a snap! I installed two of these. One in my pick-up and another for a widow who had purchased a new car without radio. She was very pleased as I. I will recommend to friends and return for future purchases!

Great Stereo for an economical price

I didn't want something too expensive and fancy. I just wanted a car stereo that would get the job done and was easy to install. I purchased the kit along with the stereo and it was extremely easy for me (a female who has never installed a car stereo in her life) to install. It does not have an extensive equalizer, but you have your basic treble, bass, balance, and fade options. It's easy to switch from aux, CD, to FM/AM radio and that's all I needed. I would definitely recommend this produce for someone that is simply looking for something that works well. I am pleased.

Decent at best.

The head unit looks cool but dont even think about using the CD player because it skips on every bump (even one you dont know you hit) the Aux port and USB charger are the only positives.

Pretty Good Value

I've owned this unit for about 4 months.
Very low price, easy to use, sound quality is fine.
No durability issues. The volume dial feels cheap.
The blue screen is bright during night driving. Distracting.

Damn Good

I have had this head unit for a while now and I can't be happier with this product. All the functions work well and without a hitch. I have it in my 94 Grand Am GT connecting to my amp powering two 12 inch Pioneer subs. This is a FANTASTIC product for the price. The only problem I ever have is the cd player skips sometimes when driving over bumps or when it is really cold out but it still works great. the usb and aux are a great feature. Totally recommend this product.

Great Budget Cd stereo

This Dual surprised me with the amount of RMS power it drove my coaxial. Better than I expected for the price. The front panel auxiliary input is very handy for my MP3 player. The detachable face is a good way to prevent theft of this unit. I'm happy with it so far!

Dual XD1222 review

This was a decent stereo for the price. I had no real trouble with it. It seems durable for being installed in a semi truck where there is a lot of shaking and vibration. So far it has withstood it. I would recommend it for those on a budget, but not for anyone looking to have a real high quality system. But for the price, I'm very satisfied. The aux input and usb charger is also nice.

Good Product

For the price, this is a very good head unit. It took me a little longer to install because i did not have a factory wiring harness. It runs the speakers very well. i wish it played back MP3's. Other than that, very worth the money.

Quite swell!

I mainly bought this because I had 3 criteria for a HU I wanted: iPod connection that charged and connected through the rear of the HU; had green lights to match dash lighting, was relative cheap.

And to my delight so far, everything has gone swell! There are a few exceptions, it sometimes randomly turns off while Im pushing buttons, but I think thats because the face plate might not be totally secured. Also I think it leaves my iPod on even when the car/radio is off, so the battery goes dead after sitting for a while which isnt a problem since my iPod is dedicated to staying in the car.

But other then that for the price, the iPod functionality and being able to scroll through the iPods playlist with ease, it did every thing I expected it to!

alright for the price

For a cheap head unit its good if your on a budget. if your using it just for the radio it'll work great, but for cd's it'll skip if you hit a lot of bumps if your looking at this one, I would recommend looking into a little nicer head unit

Great Product!

This stereo came out to be actually pretty good for the price that I paid. I've had this stereo for a couple months now and I gotta say I don't regret getting it. I mean there is other stereos out there that are way better but for this price. sweeet

Pretty Good

Had it professionally installed because i have a foreign vehicle. Land Rover. Works pretty good. Dont use cd player a lot, it skips if you hit bumps but not too bad. Aux port is the best part, i use it all the time. Also has RCAs in the back for hooking up an amp, which I am in the process of now. Pretty good overall. Bang for your buck 4 sure

Junk

I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody. It worked fine for about a month an a half but now its terrible. My cd's skipped over every bump and I got used to it but the radio would work for a day or so and then I'd have to unplug all of the wires and then reset all the stations and that was a pain. My MP3 player even skips on the road which is wired as mess. I suggest you to look into a more durable head unit.
