AWESOME head unit for the price!!

great radio

This is a great radio for the money. I love the features. It did distort my speakers when I had just that radio and no amp. I had Hifonics 5x7 speakers but its because of how high wattage and RMS watts the speakers were but once I got the 1000 watt Autotek amp it evened everything out and it sounds amazing I can turn it up all the way without distortion.

Good deal

I just put this stereo in my car and i looooove it, most people i know say dual decks are cheap and crappy, i have yet to experience that. The Mp3 CD function does skip at certain points but its not a big problem because i use my flash drive 95% of the time.

great radio

This radio is great i had it for about a year now. I wish it would take more than just mp3 formats for the usb port but overall its great and a great deal for the price.

Works Great

I bought this stereo becuase I wanted to use a thumb drive instead of burning cd's all the time. The 6350 works great and I haven't had any problems with it and I'm not wasting cd's all the time.

Does its job and looks good while doing it

I have this installed in my 88 ford taurus. I must say, it looks really nice and has plenty of functions. i got it mainly for its 3 rca outputs which were a nice addition. The blue lights looks really nice especially at night. the only problem I have with it is that sometimes when I turn it up I get some crappy sounds out of my speakers (which I invested alot of money in) but thats only to be expected since they aren't amplified. overall a good product and i would defiantly buy it again or recommend it to a friend.

Good radio..but...

In general I am very happy with this radio. It looks very nice in my car and the controls are easy and straightforward. My radio reception isn't what it was with my factory radio, but its not that bad. PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to charge an iPOd touch 2nd gen or iPhone 3G or above (possibly some others) the USB port WILL NOT charge your iPod. You will need to get a converter in order for it to charge. The converters are about $25 and you can get one from this site but this is something that I found out the hard way so please don't assume the USB port will charge any device. I wish this was communicated on the page before I purchased this radio.

Amazing deck!

I have had to go through 2 of these, but no matter, it puts out a lot of power, and the loudness button is awesome, love seeing people get into my car and be like " what volume is it set to, it's so loud! ", and I reply, 10.... lol....ya it's awesome, I only buy dual decks. You should too! And at the great Sonic price to boot!!! Didn't give it straight 5, just due to durability is somewhat of an issue, after 6 months or so you may experience problems...also lack of better features, but hey, at the price it's at, what do ya expect..

Good Buy

This radio is definitely worth what i paid for it, i would recommend it if you have a budget. Don't buy if you plan on using your ipod. You can use your ipod via aux port but not through the usb and that was my only disapointment with the product. Other than that it is a great radio.

Dual XDM 6350

Really good product to a really great price. Many functions for a low cost and still works really good after 6 months of using. The main difference between this and a more expensive brand is the quality of the amplifier.

GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE!!!!

I just recently bought this item and it has increased the sound of my sub-woofers tremendously!!! Before my old radio could just make it hit and now this radio is making it SLAM!!! The sound quality is good and the overall is great!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone who wants an GREAT radio for the price!!!

Good radio for the price

I recently bought this radio for my Suburban. Installation was a cinch with the Scosche adapter and harness. The stereo sounds good, but doesn't have allot of power for the factory speakers in my ride. The bluetooth works good, the remote works good, the iPod cable works great, the USB flash drive port works good but is slow to read the folder structure on the drive. All-in-all, it's a great radio for the price, especially since Sonic Electronix is throwing in the installation accessories plus free shipping. This is a good radio for the average person or average ride.

Good deal

Although it's $89.99 here, wiring harness and installation come together for free. So overall, here is cheaper. But the shipping took a bit longer than I expected. BTW, this product itself is great. If you don't have subs, then I really recommend to use "LOUD" mode for this one. Overall sound quality is much better than my factory HU. Even though I don't have a sub, bass hits harder and good enough for me with this HU. The light from the front panel is well-balanced, not too dim at daytime, not too bright at night. I think I can recommend this product.

great value! cool geature i cant find one thing wrong with it!

i just got this radio installed end of December in olds eighty eight from factory unit i had a ac delco with stock 6 speakers it sounds unbelievable! that all the way up my speakers could handle it with minimal distortion like allot of the reviews i bought this unit compared to others because of affordability and the usb port! i rarely use a cd or mp3 player anymore. the nicest feature is that you can increase the gain on your auxilary items like mp3 usb or radio. i would recommend this product. only thing i have run into yet is tuning one time skipped around allot i powered it down and since has worked great.

GOOD AND BAD

This product is great for the price and for the features, but it doesn't last as long as it should. Although i did rough it up a little by installing it and uninstalling it a few times. The amount of internal shorts is also bad, the volume control will eventually only turn up one per turn and sometimes turn down even when turning it up and the sub OUT will stop working also.

For the price, this head unit beats many more expensive units. This unit has a user friendly remote and 3 pairs of RCA outputs. Adding an amplifier is easy, giving several amplifier installation options. Installation of the unit was a breeze. Good looking and sound to match, if you are looking for an after market head unit and are a little tight on cash, give this unit a try, you will not be disappointed. Sonicelectronix is the best online car stereo dealer, which is why I am a return customer.

Great Product!

I purchased this radio several months ago. I was surprised at how easy it was to replace the factory radio with this one. It looks good too. The wiring harness made it an easy swap. The reason I bought this radio was the ability to play a USB drive. I love the idea of no moving parts. It works great! I can record music or spoken programs at my computer and play them any time I am on the road. When I stop the car and then start up again, the program picks up from where it left off. By holding down the skip button, I can fast forward or rewind a particular track. When my wife and I go on a long trip, I load up my USB drive ahead of time with what we want to listen to. This radio had the best price for the USB feature. Sonic had the best price on this radio. The radio and CD function also work well. I would definitely buy this radio again. By the way, my wife likes the blue front-light!

Great radio

I put this unit in my 93 dakota and it looks and sounds great. I wanted to really find out what the usb port could do, so i put my 500 gig external hard drive to it and it actually read all the music that i have on it.

Great Unit! Outstanding Value

This is an outstanding player for $85. This would be a great player even at a much higher price. All features work great. They layout of the unit is comfortable.

USB port works well to random large amounts of music files with no problems.

Great Radio for the price!

I recommend the product. Everything works well. Aux / USB input are nice to have for MP3 hookup. Tuner works good. No problems at all.

Dual XDM6350

Excellent stereo for the money. I bought this to put in my Jeep that rarely sees the road, mostly just trails and rocks, so I didn't need something really expensive. This fit the bill perfect.

Wonderful Product

Good usb stereo, soso cd player

For the money this is an excellent buy. I purchased this stereo for my wife who is technically challenged. The big main control button in the stereo and the usb for plugging a flash drive in was the main seller and it works great. I ended up giving this car to my son and he likes the features mentioned above but he says the cd player will skip badly with the smallest bump. He's content using the usb though.

Great stereo; great features; great sound; excellent value!

I love being able to set the audio, and source level settings for each of the modes. USB mode is awesome, but mostly I use Aux mode with my Creative Zen.

nice stereo

i put this stereo in a jeep Cherokee and it works and looks great even matches the color of the car. the usb in the front is very nice you can charge a phone or anything with it

couldnt be happier

i bought this for my 90 Chevy Truck. Mostly for the front USB port, but after hooking everything up i couldnt be happier. You cant beat it for the price.

Excellent Head Unit! Powerful!

I have really enjoyed this unit, It has the front USB input, which is why I purchased, that reads very fast. Some other brands that have the USB port had bad reviews because they had a delay and were slow to read. Not true with this unit. It also has 3 pre-amp outputs, and a subwoofer control. Not to mention that this unit also looks good. Very good stereo. This unit also enhanced the sound of my existing speakers a lot compared to the stock Chevy Silverado unit. I am glad I bought and highly recommend.
