nice unit, good price
I bought this for my buggy so when we go out onto the sticks we have tunes. I like the NO MOVING PARTS about this unit. It was easy to install (15 min). Also, it's really light and not as deep as the units with cd players so it can be put almost anywhere. Remember that it is only 15 watts per channel so if you have speakers that run well @ 30-60 watts, you will need a small amp to make it sound a bit better. I like that there is all the settings like, Bass, Treb, fade and balance for all 4 speakers. It is a good all around unit. Really easy to use.

Decent unit
Pros:
-The design is really easy to learn and is really simple. The reason I bought this is because it doesn't have any moving parts to break down or malfunction.
-low price.
-The unit isn't very long, so it will not have many problems fitting in dashboards.
Cons:
-The USB jack doesn't charge an iPod nor is it capable of playing music off an iPod unless the iPod is reformatted as a storage drive.
-Very little Power. 5W RMS x4 means you can't have the windows down and hear the music clearly without it either being too quiet or distorted, though this can be fixed by adding an external amplifier via RCA jacks.
-only one pair or RCA jacks
-The blue backlight is not adjustable. It's very bright, and many don't like that while driving at night. however, I don't mind since it helps me see without having to turn on interior lights in the car to find something.
-only 1.5V output, though if your amp is good enough, this is a minor issue.
-wished it had more EQ settings.
-volume knob feels cheap
Overall good unit, though I feel audiophiles many yearn for something more. If only someone would make a mechless unit such as this with the same quality and build as other more expensive units with more EQ settings and a good 20W RMS x4 output.

like a baloney sandwich
I got this to fit in an MG where CDs don't fit because of the shifter. I paid about the same as a case of beer, and expected the same longevity. I'm surprised! It works great, easy to figure out, and only a cheapskate would try to run a stereo without an amp anyway. It's a basic, CHEAP unit, and when you pay this price don't expect prime rib, you ordered a baloney sandwich.

Exactly what I wanted
Wanted something simple that would play radio and iPods. Works great.

good deal,, needs help
dual xr-4110 is a nice unit, although the out-put wattage is poor. But with the install of an inexpensive booster (i chose a Boss AVA-1404) the sound quality barries the factory stereo i replaced and with slight modification to the install kit it's sitting in the same my 2-din factory unit came from. I would reccomend this unit with the install of an amp.

dual xr4110
I really highly recommend this head unit. It has a USB port lets you listen to music through a pindrive and also has a SD card port which very practical because they can hear their musical selections, saving time and money by not using old cd's and not only that it its port for MP3's, is just great, I use it every day for over 8 months and so far no bad news, the price is really affordable for all, another very important feature was never will line you skipped the music if it falls in a hole in the handle. FANTASTIC .....

Worked Fine
I bought this for my first system. It worked fine it is simple. It only has 15 watts though so it isn't very loud. But it works fine in most Honda's because a lot of their stock radios are around 15 watts.

great headunit for a low price
this is a very good head unit and is priced right. I have had mine for over 6 months and it works great, no skips like CD even in an old 1 ton truck. great sound, radio picks up good also. I mostly use SD card, have up to 8gb card with no problem. I would highly recommend this for anyone who doesn't want the hassle of Cd's, great little unit overall.

good for tight spots
Compact and simple to use...Needs a clock and a dimmer for the display which is blinding at night..Can't beat it for price and simplicity

good unit,but needs help.
Overall XR4110 works well (for what it is), could use a clock. Sound quality is OK, it does lack power when LOUD function is off. i installed a cheap EQ-booster with it and it does good. Backlight doesn't dim with, making it almost blinding at night. Otherwise i'd say it's a good piece for the $$.

good cheap head unit
I really like this little head unit and can not beat it for the price. I mounted it inside a large boom box that I built for my daughters softball team. I am running it through a Scosche SLC-4 converter connected with RCA cables to a 5 channel 1000 watt Crunch amp, 4 6-1/2" RF speakers, and a 10" RF sub. We use it either with a SD card or the audio jack and a MP3 player. I don't think that it would have enough power on it's own but works great with the amp.

Amazing for the price!
This little BASIC radio is excellent! It does just what I need in my truck. The free install parts made the job EASY! Sonic is a great company. I have bought a couple of radios from them and never had a problem. Customer service is great.

best in it's price
If you want aux, USB and radio, that's it.

very versatile
I bought one and installed on my motorcycle.
It uses inexpensive SD cards and that beats CD Players any day.
I can reprogram my SD cards with MP3s faster than burning a CD
I really like the features it has but what I like the most is NO MOVING PARTS.
That means that I can hit a bump on my bike and not get a skip in my music.
I like this radio so much that I bought a spare.

Excellent
I'm glad I bought from Sonic because they bundle the model-specific dash kit and wiring harness with the stereo, no extra charge. Prompt shipping. I installed this in an '07 Toyota Matrix, no problem. I watched some Youtube videos on installing car stereos, and decided I could do it. The XR4110 works great. 60 watts is plenty for Toyota's factory speakers. The AM/FM works fine, but all I really use is the SD slot. I love having lots of music on a card. When you turn off the car, the player remembers the track, but not the place in the track, which is no big deal for a 3-minute song, but a bit inconvenient for a 20-minute symphony or a 1-hour seminar lecture. Very straightforward play order: name your MP3's with number prefixes: 01song, 02song, etc. It looks at filenames, not album/track info. Haven't tried the USB port or Aux input yet. The dash kit has a pocket underneath the stereo, which is very handy.

great for those on a budget at low volume levels.
pros
-No moving parts to break down
-Easy to use
-low price! (though only 5 watts RMS per channel may justify this)
-I actually like the bright blue screen. It makes the car glow at night and gives off enough light to see inside the car without turning on my overhead lamp. Yet it isn't so bright I can't see out of my car. It's the equivalent to a night light in a house.
-I can charge my iPod via USB.
-The radio sounds decent, though I mainly use the Aux in jack.
-the EQ is decent, giving bass and treble a range of -7 to +7.
cons
-ONLY 5 Watts RMS per Channel! - If you like it loud, don't get this. Save your money, as you will just have to upgrade later anyhow.
-It only has one set of RCA out jacks, which makes it harder to hook an amp up to it. I suppose you could get two of those cables that splits each single RCA jack into two jacks, but I haven't tried this unit with an amp, so I don't know if that would work.
-no clock
-no security features.

Great head unit.
For only only $50, you can't find a better deck. My only complaint is the bright blue display that lacks brightness controls.

mp3 on a budget!
Nice unit! I just finished the installation... nice and easy.
8 wires for speakers, power, ground, acc power and remote, SIMPLE!
you can go up or down through the folders with two buttons!
The screen is small but thats what you get for the price! Only one pair of RCA outputs but that is enough for some.

Excellent Product
I mounted this unit in my Jeep XJ Cherokee. I run it with a 16 gig SD card and it takes weeks to run through my music. It's great offroading as nothing effects the XR4110. It has some limitations, FM receiver not so great -who cares FM is dead. It could be loader. It is too bright at night. It needs a clock. It's much smaller than a standard din unit so I had too get creative in my mounting and use som JB Weld on the chassis and use my original Jeep mount. As a result it is inset 1.5" into the dash allowing me to make a fold down flap to cover it up at night because it's so bright.
Those issues are offset by the cost of this unit and what it does. I love it!
