Dynamat 10005 Wood Roller for Dyanamat

I would highly recommend this wooden roller if you are installing Dynamat in a vehicle. It makes the job that much easier.

don't install with out it

There's no better tool for installing the sound damping. It's so cheap compared to the total cost of your system.

Ok

This inexpensive roller worked ok for the job. The roller did start to come apart due to the amount of pressure needed to ensure a secure install of the dynamat. Overall, I wouldn't highly recommend this product if you plan on installing a lot of dynamat. I did my entire trunk, so I should've spent the extra $10 for the better roller.

Great roller

This is a must have item to apply your Dynamat..This is a strong roller it wont brake if you apply pressure to it..If your buying Dynamat than buy this roller.

Dynamat is a great value

I used Dynamat throughout my entire car to prevent heat and unwanted noise. It has made a world of difference. Great product!

Great Value

This product works great. I use it to roll/press on transfer tape in large sheets. The only down fall is that the center pin wares out after a while from the metal to metal grinding. For the price, it works great.

Cheap, flimsy, bad.

Do not recommend. Very cheaply built, sides are not concave they cut into whatever deadner you are applying, the actual shaft that holds the roller breaks and seperates very easy, yo ucan get much better quality for much cheaper

I used this wood roller to press seams as I sewed quilt fabric pieces together - great for presssing without electricity!

Budget Wooden Roller

At the end of the day it got the job done. But, within the first ten minutes it fell apart. The arms that hold the roller in bend super easy. Over all, its good for a tight budget.

Its alright

Once you start using this the metal bracket begins to bend, but i just bent it back with pliers and its just as good. Over all its good for tight spots.

This was helpful in the tight spaces, but the rubber roller served to be more useful overall. I would recommend both, but the rubber one if you only want to get one

fell apart by the time I could install a Dynamat bulk pack

I bought this with a bulk pack of Dynamat Extreme, by the time I had installed most of the Dynamat, the roller had fallen apart and I had to use the handle side of a screwdriver to finish the rest of the job... it probably worked better than the roller at that. This is not the best build quality and wont hold up to any sort of abuse or overuse.

Great tool

Very useful to ensure dynamat is sticking to nooks and crannies. Very happy with this tool and Sonic is the best place to get it.

Did the job

i bought this when i bought some dynamat extreme a while back. Im sure that you could get a roller for your dynamat for cheaper somewhere else, but this roller is great and is made exactly for this task of applying the dynamat on. If you get some dynamat, get this

Dynamat

Easy to install with a simple heat gun and the roller. The heat gun will help the Dynamat stick and the roller will help to form it to the contours of the trunk.
