Great Product

I have the positive and negative clamps for a clean look. Very nicely built and versatile. I was unable to find this information anywhere so I bought it anyway: The LED display can be VERY EASILY unscrewed from the bottom and pushed through and then TURNED AROUND without any modification. This was a concern of mine before I bought them but I went for it and the change was super easy. These look awesome on my Optima Red Top. The voltmeter is very nice right at the battery, no guessing for finding a meter to tell if the power is there. The ground wire for the meter is VERY small and you want to make a connection with a disconnect in it in case you ever need to remove it. I used a red female spade and striped the wire back far and folded it over to get the best connection I could. The ground might be 22 gauge, it's super small.

Good Clamp

Good clamp. It can be improved if it has 2 0awg output.

happy,but said...

I would recommend this product. It busted my system by 1/12 volts. It hits much harder, but the problem is that sometimes it get loose on the battery it self. But still a great buy.

very good terminals

Installed the Pos.& Neg EFX Terminals on my battery under the hood of my 96 Caprice, and they work very good, these are heavy duty terminals for my 0 Gauge wire, volt meter also works good so far, just dont let your battery die though since they are not very good to connect jumper cables to as is in my case, i would have to try and squeeze cables to the side post with limit space.

best terminal ive owned

This terminal is the best terminal I've ever owned. It is better than the 24k gold plated terminals I've used and it allows me to read my voltage.

Nice but could be improved

This is a nice looking clamp and I'm generally happy with it, but it could be improved.

Pros:
-Nice looking--cleaner overall appearance
-Display works well--lights up RED, turns off after a minute without voltage change to not drain the battery
-Covers post completely--may keep it cleaner/more protected from rust, etc.
-Probably better electrical transfer with set screw inputs rather than ring terminals, and silver plating
-Plating seems durable--when trying to find a way to clamp a jumper cable to it, the teeth didn't seem to mar the finish too much.

Cons:
-No place for a jumper cable or battery tester to clamp onto
-Limited inputs--if you have more than four wires, or your wires don't happen to be exactly 0, 4, or 8 gauge you will need to buy a distribution block. Could be vastly improved by having a screw to accept rings terminals for extra/different gauge wires.
-Display is nice but in practice an interior gauge or data logger is more helpful, and the space it takes up on the clamp could have been used to add a ring terminal input or make it smaller.
-Large--hangs off battery
-Allen keys--may be more annoying for some to remove clamp than ratchet. Also it would have been simpler to only use one size key rather than three. Would probably have been easier to have the set screws on top rather than bottom, but would have detracted from appearance.
-Hard to get wires into set screw inputs--Even with the possible benefit of better electrical transfer in comparison to ring terminals, it is almost impossible to get the wire in without many of the strands not making it into the hole.
