A subwoofer cannot play louder than its excursion will allow.... this woofer is not special in comparison with any other sub woofer the same excursion ability, power, and size.... regardless of the price tag

Get what u pay for

These subs are the beast they sound like thunder rolling they hit harder than any subwoofer I've owned and I've had alot of subs in 20 years. Cons of the subs there heavy as all get out but that's the price u pay for quality comp equipment. There mounting depth is gonna be about twice that of any other sub out there. Don't second guess these subs just buy them and a great amp oh and some ear plugs and bass out BASSHEADS.

Painfully loud!!!!

If you are looking for the loudest..deepest bass.. this sub is hard to compete with..You will not be able to turn the volume all the way up if you are inside the vehicle.
