older was better
Had the old red ones and they lasted 3 years or so with no issues and they were less wattage. New ones lasted less than 5 months, tuned by professional car audio dealer. They pounded while they lasted, going with another brand now.

Just got these low priced beasts. Let me tell you they are just that. Tight accurate bass even in a ported box. Definitely worth the money. I have two on a cruddy American legacy la1990 amp and they pound. Will buy two more an a better amp soon. Thanks Sonic!
